Wonderful
The room had everything I needed, the bedding was excellent, there was plenty of room, and I had an interesting view. The staff was really nice and helpful.
I really appreciated the help with my luggage up to my room....I don't mind the stairs except for when I arrived with my luggage, so it was greatly appreciated, after just having climbed a couple hundred steps up from the train station!!

We loved staying on Cockburn in Old Town. Just a 2-3 minute walk from Waverly station and adjacent to the Royal Mile! The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. And we loved the convenience of the cafe.
We truly loved everything.

The service was amazing, the guy at the reception came to get our luggage from the car that was a bit far from the hotel (we arrived when the street was closed for driving)
The view from the room was astonishing and the room was very big.

Location was very central to great areas and within walking distance of everything. The room itself was well appearing, the building was clean and basic amenities offered. For it being so centrally located it wasn’t excessively loud.
The twin beds were horribly uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on a wooden table. There was no airflow in the room without opening the windows, so it got quite hot and stuffy.

Great location in a beautiful building. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and tidy. The restaurant downstairs had good food. I’d definitely stay here again!
The mattress was more firm than is usually my preference, but nothing too bad. This is a great property.

The room was beautiful and every detail looked after - Nespresso maker, fresh milk and juice in the room. Incredible view, comfortable bed, modern shower. Vicki thought of every detail and it couldn't have been better.

Fantastic location. Right in the heart of the city! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. They were having a little bit of a head wave when we arrived and the wonderful staff ensured we had fans in our rooms to keep us cool.

This place is a hidden gem. Located a half block north of the Royal Mile and just south of the train station. Rooms were large and staff was very helpful. We really lucked out in picking this one!!

Location could not have been better. Didn’t eat the breakfast. Can walk everywhere it seemed, with excellent restaurants within yards.
Only one chair in room- but requested a second and they provided it. No elevator so be prepared to walk up stairs. Awkward set up to open window the way curtains are positioned- pretty hard to do.

Location - centrally located - friendly staff (SO HELPFUL!) - easy walk to train station.

The Inn is in a prime location - right in the middle of all the tourist spots or a short walk away.
The room is small. The walls are thin - you can hear people coming and going down the hallway as well as from the alley outside of the building, even with the window closed.

The location was great! To the left of the entrance is a close, alleyway, leading to the royal mile. Across the street from the hotel is another close leading to the train station, or, if you don’t want to climb the stairs you can walk around the corner.
