The only thing we liked was the comfortable bed and the location
Even though we read the reviews and saw people talking about the room not being too clean, we didn’t think it would be that bad. There were pieces of hair around the sink in the bathroom and around the bathtub. The carpet definitely needs a very deep cleaning. We didn’t make any comments to the manager but we noticed that the cleaning lady didn’t bother to clean those areas anyways so..

Wonderful
Made sure I had a room which I liked. Quiet room with nice double bed. Next door to Haymarket Railway Station and Tram Stop to Airport.

Great location and had good connections
Room smelt like paint, could not keep window open for fresh air, bathroom flooring was fixed recently but not properly had different patch of mono just stuck down

Clean, old, simple and basic, with very nice Team who works hard! Close (10 min or so) to the action packed Royal Mile center. Cheers!

I was nothing to look at from the outside but we were given an upgrade to front room and was fabulous
It was dated but for what we paid and getting a free upgrade it was amazing

The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk from the train station

The person in the reception was friendly. There were good options for breakfast nearby. The shower had good pressure and temperature. The bed was quite comfortable.
The shower had mould. The hotel was a bit old (noises from old places). The curtains let some light in. The bedroom was a bit small.

Location is easily accessible to everything
The room was very tired. No toilet door it was a curtain, shower door didn't work either.TV didn't work. There was a broken window cover with a piece of cardboard room that could have done with a good deep clean. Just not what you would expect from your capital city.
