The location was very convenient for what we needed.
It was very dated, torn wallpaper in one of our bedrooms, blinds held together by tape in the other, carpets old and need some serious attention.

The receptionist was incredibly friendly. The room was small but comfortable especially if you consider the price. And very very clean. The best hairdryer I encountered :)

Good location near Haymarket, bus and trams to airport just in few steps.
Key-cards have only numbers but rooms have only names, I had to tap every lock to understand which room is my. Poor wi-fi connection on the upper floor. Very thin walls, I heard every scrape of my neighbour’s mattress

Very clean and had all the amenities you need ie towels, soaps, heating, good beds.
Rather noisy at night as it’s near the tram lines and you can hear it. Windows werent thick enough to prevent the noise, but it is an old building and there are probably limitations on what the hotel could do about the noise, given the location and age of the property.

Great location next to Haymarket station very handy for getting an early bus to the airport.
Super helpful and friendly staff
This was booked just for a bed for a couple hours sleep before an early morning flight but we would definitely stay again in future due to price/location.
No issues, we got what we paid for. As a stay in Edinburgh these days at other hotels can easily be double or triple the price.
