We absolutely loved staying in this unique and beautiful houseboat! We were four girls traveling from NYC and were just blown away by how fun and cozy our stay on the houseboat was. We would stay here again when we come back to Edinburgh!
Obviously a compost toilet isn't the most glamorous, but we found everything extremely easy to use and we weren't traveling all the way to Scotland to stay forever on the boat! We loved every minute of our time there and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location
Didn’t feel as luxurious as the information implied, dated and worn out furniture including uncomfortable chairs and stools too tall so they don’t fit an adult under the counter. Old televisions that didn’t initially work until we added them to the WiFi and out of date PAT testing on electronics (2023). The rope ladder on the bunk beds that felt hand made does create a safety issue as we discovered with our daughter trapping her head in it during the night, fortunately she also got an arm caught so no lasting damage was fine but it was quite stressful
