Altogether very cozy ambience and spacious room. It is a bit farther away from the centre but then again Edinburgh is not the biggest city. And there are the Haymarket station and bus connections just few minutes away. We arrived very late due to a delay in our flight but the check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow.
Overall, even when there were some things I did not like, the stay was very comfortable.
The room had high ceiling but you could hear the footsteps and the floor creaking when someone above your room was moving.
The water pipes (?) seem to be built in the wall from the sleeping room so every time someone was flushing the toilet you could hear that as well.

Historic building close to the heart of the city with huge suites filled with very comfortable furnishings. Very quiet, no traffic noise. Staff are excellent and on hand to give advice on this amazing city!

This was an amazing, luxurious space with wonderful facilities. The location was fantastic the staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would certainly recommend it to family and friends!
