The staff were exceptional, especially Erin she was so helpful in checking us in and giving us information about the city. Our room was so clean and comfortable. The Spa was a lovely way to unwind. The breakfast service comprised of good food and warm smiles. I had a wonderful stay at The Caledonian the next time I'm in Edinburgh I will be staying here.

Felt homely, reception and concierge were attentive and did what I asked.
Battled to get warm water in the show, took a very long time to reach a point where it was comfortable to shower.

It’s beautiful, tasteful and very comfortable and the exercise facilities are a great touch.
I had a noisy construction site outside my window that started work at 7:30 both mornings.

Location old world charm
The receptionist made me go to my car to get my suitcase to get my wallet out for photo id. In the foyer I had to open my case to show her my driving l. She then lied saying it was uk policy. I have stayed at the Langham, Waldorf and Radison hotels and not been humiliated like this.
