Friendly staff. Nice decor throughout the hotel. Room was a good size. Perfect location.
Food menu. Food was very limited for vegetarians. We ordered a tomato and avocado salad. The salad was full of tomatoes and very very little avocado. No real dressing with the salad either. Very over priced salad. There was no accommodation made for us when it came to food.
Pillows were not comfortable. This gave me a neck ache. I did ask for a firmer foam pillow. A firmer pillow was given, but it wasn't foam. The linen was not pure cotton. Smart tv is needed.

The location is excellent, right near all the main attractions and just a few minutes walk from the tram.
On the last night of our stay there was a fire alarm. Of course this is not the hotels fault but the staff lost control of the situation. Two hours in the Edinburgh cold at 9-11 pm with poor communication.

Room was good, lovely view of the castle, warm and clean. Everything we needed
Caley bar has changed for the worse. Used to be a great place to relax, have a drink and a chat, after a long day in Edinburgh. Not anymore. Now it plays music so loud you cannot talk over it, completely ruined what used to be a wonderful space - what a shame.

Beautiful building, lovely staff, and the restaurant served delicious food and drinks.
Not that it was their fault, but the fire alarm meant we had 3 hours away from the room until midnight.

It's classically beautiful while providing chilled vibes.
The staff were incredible super lovely and helpful. Room was made available to us early. We forgot a tooth brush and were provided one.
Lots of minor finishing touches that really made the stay enjoyable.

Very nice hotel which made the visit even more special. Decor was beautiful and a lovely ambience in the bar..Staff were very attentive.
A little pricey for food and drinks but I guess normal for a hotel of this high standard.
