The view of Edinburgh Castle from our window. The staff was friendly, especially Jay at the concierge desk. Everyone we met was great.
The room was small for the price. The breakfast was the same every day, perhaps need to change it up a bit. My biggest issue has nothing to do with hotel but the sirens on Lothian road were very annoying.

Wonderful
It’s hard to say anything bad! Beautiful hotel, inside and out. Incredible location and views of Edinburgh. Sumptuously decorated throughout. Very comfortable room, bed, lovely bathroom, excellent breakfast. Staff are absolutely superb.
Nothing - we were even given some special extras (it was a special occasion, so felt a good deal too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Old school charm and very spacious!
Not much not to like… perhaps a few fittings are dated. Truly charming hotel though having said and I love it!

Hotel was beautiful and staff very friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was spectacular.
One little incident regarding our bags. Dropped off just before check in time as we had a booking during it. Was told bags would be taken to room - the werent. Called to ask and they would sort but had to chase. Things happen but time was beginning to become tight for our dinner reservation.
Would be good for some regular coffee for those that enjoy a full cup and dont wish to use the nespresso.

The staff were really friendly, the room beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. The Court and Caley Bar were definitely worth a visit as well.
There only being one lift might be a problem for some, but we used the stairs most of the time.

Wonderful
I have stayed before but this room was lovely ,just perfect for us.Comfortable,exceptionally clean and this location is perfect for getting out and about.The breakfast was great ,set up was different from our previous stay but did not disappoint.Great choice and excellent service.
I cannot find any faults with our stay,perfect from start to finish.The hotel staff are all very friendly and most accommodating.

Staff were excellent. Pleasant, professional and extremely helpful.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
It is in an excellent location with plenty of fabulous eating places within easy walking distance. Tour buses stop outside the hotel.
NCP car park close by.
Clear view of the castle.
Near the main shopping area.
The spa was very disappointing.
Very small swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna. Totally inadequate for the number of guests. Treatments were very expensive.
There was only one lift.
Our room was smaller than I expected.
