The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stunning historic building and lovely interior. The room was beautiful
We had issues with the power outlets as there were no European sockets available. The reception staff was friendly, but unfortunately they could not help us and we had to go out and buy an adapter ourselves.
The windows in the room were also dirty, which was disappointing.
The breakfast was very disappointing. The staff were not friendly at all and seemed quite unhappy. The food quality was also poor.

The service and friendliness of the staff and the general atmosphere of the hotel. The room was dark and quiet at night, and the bathroom was very nice.
The general noise level in the restaurant and the Court. The background music played in the Caley Bar and The Court should be the same, as having two "competing" sources is not nice and can be quite stressful.

We loved the hotel and location and the breakfast was amazing. But there was building work right outside our bedroom window they were very noisy from 8 am Friday morning and sat morning so no long lie in for us. And myself and my husband went for a well earned break as I have had cancer recently.
The room if there was no noise from 8 am in the morning both mornings.

We had an an excellent family stay. All staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. It goes a long way.. really appreciated and valued. Location is first class and will definitely stay again and high recommend to others.
Pool area a little dated. Clean but aged.
