The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and really helpful. The food was good and the bar was lovely.
My only comment is that there should have been a recycling bin in the room. Otherwise, nothing to add.

Very luxurious and excellent food. I arrived after 8 PM. I still manage to order dinner in the bar. It was delicious and the bar had a wonderful ambience. The staff was incredibly nice.
I love the bathroom in my room. I had a towel, warmer a beautiful bathtub and an espresso coffee maker absolutely delicious. I love the staircasein the hotel.

Location was great and practical. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and spacious.
It gets a bit hot sometimes due to the heating but the hotel made sure to have an ac in the room for us

Beautifully appointed hotel, with lush decor. The room was very posh, with nice amenities, including coffee and tea, and of course, shortbread! The hotel bar was great, with attentive and helpful wait staff. All staff were wonderful and helpful. The only little negative was that our rooms were on the lower level, so we could hear people wheeling suitcases across the marble floor in and out of the lobby above, and could hear hotel staff in and out of the freight elevator. Not anyone's fault, just something to be aware of when you book. Otherwise, a very excellent stay!

Housekeeping was amazing -- whether I stayed in my room until noon or left at 9, when I came back it was refreshed.
I appreciated the refrigerated water and the selection of hot drinks.
Overall, I felt every moment that I was welcome and appreciated, and I was supremely comfortable. The area is quiet and charming while also being a short walk to the shopping districts. A wonderful stay.

This was such a beautiful historic property offering upscale breakfast, large and comfortable rooms, and lovely amenities. It felt more like staying at home than in a small hotel room. In addition, the staff couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming. Special shout out to Lukasz who was so kind in advice on what to do and where to go but also tailoring his recommendations to what he learned about us. We loved just chatting with him as we came and went. Truly lovely guy
We felt a little warm at first as we love sleeping in a cold room and the staff thoughtfully had turned the heat on for our arrival during a cold fall visit, but they helped us immediately with changing the heat and using a fan, so truly little to complain about

the staff and the public rooms were wonderful. We loved our bedroom the style and comfort. The decor was stunning and appreciated the old world look to the room.
Two issues in the room (202) were that the heat was difficult to regulate and the bathroom heated towel rack was extremely dirty and dusty which was a big yuck. There was limited light over the sink in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at The Bonham in Edinburgh. The room was beautiful, and the hospitality from Lucas and the team was exceptional. Everyone made us feel truly welcome. The location is perfect for exploring the city. We would love to come back next time we’re in Edinburgh, highly recommended!
