One of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in (Rothesay suite) alsonut was tremendously cheap for what it was ! Best value I have ever experienced.
It’s a small house hotel - don’t expect huge facilities

An absolutely gorgeous hotel, the decor was incredibly lush, but also very comfortable. The hotel bar was gorgeous, and the service both from the bar staff and from reception was incredible, we really felt so welcome.
The room was large, and had a shower over bath, which was ideal. The bed was massive, we also had a dining table, vanity and large closet. We will absolutely be back, the location was so convenient and the amenities were second to none.
The extra charges for parking were not made clear on the booking, but that is the only thing that could possibly be improved.

The hotel is beautiful. So often these old building hotels are in need of renovation but the Bonham is beautifully decorated and kept. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is excellent value for money.

Bar and restaurant lively and atmospheric.
We stayed in master suite. The combined bath and shower was hopeless and needs ripping out and starting again.

Everything was exceptional, from the staff to the breakfast and the place its self. The first hotel that was much better in reality than in the pictures ! The hotel became part of the hole magical experience of Edinburgh.
The only thing that could improve are the prices of the food and drinks that weren't included in the accommodation price!

The rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. And the staff were really friendly.

Cost of parking and no hot water the morning of departure.
When I complained, I was told that it was beachside other guests were having showers. Is the not what happened in a hotel?

Location. Appreciate the manager talking about issues and offering to free extras as a rectification
Unfriendly staff at check in. Not made to feel welcome at all. Snooty. Poor room. Close to lift and noisy. Half bath half shower setup which I don’t like then a faulty heater meant no hot water for a shower in the morning. Turned a pillow over on the bed during the night and it smelt of sick. Disgusting.

Good location, large room and very comfortable bed. Nespresso coffee, fresh milk and cookies provided daily
The breakfast buffet really needs improving. Poor and limited choice on every food group, be that fresh fruit, bread, or cheese.
For that kind of money, remarkably below standard.
