We had 2 rooms which were both very expensive. The second room was very small. Despite paying over £3000 for an over night stay breakfast was not included and we had to pay an additional cost which was disappointing. The hotel was clean and lovely presented and in a good location and the health spa and facilities were lovely, however I do not believe that room only warranted the cost. I have stayed in many hotels and and I appreciate that The Balmoral is an icon in the city, times have changed and there are many excellent and exclusive hotels providing excellent facilities at a cheaper cost. Considering the amount of add on's ie services charges and now tourist tax it is a lot for 1 nights stay.
Include breakfast in the cost as a minimum.

Central location , beautiful and comfortable rooms .Afternoon Tea was fabulous.
Breakfast! Food was very disappointing, my husband’s porridge was the worst he had ever had . Felt that the breakfast room was far too big and therefore very noisy. Very expensive, definitely not worth the money .
