We asked for a room with a walk in shower and reception got us a beautiful room. Very comfortable bed, incredibly quiet due to great soundproof windows.
Breakfast not worth £15 was like a typical US lower range hotel. Step outside to great local cafes instead.

This hotel really exceeded expactations; the room was very big, quiet, clean and looked really nice and the bed was super comfortable. The price to quality ratio was great! The location was very good as well, close to everything but on a quiet street without all the noise and a sea of tourists. I would recommend!
The breakfast did not look particularly appetizing and healthy, so we opted to have breakfast outside the hotel.

The breakfast was fine. The typical Scottish breakfast. Good A/C in the room. Not overly large room but sufficient. Staff was a little late getting the room cleaned after the first night but not a big problem.
