We loved everything about our 3 night stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with the ability to adjust the room temperature.The staff were helpful and friendly. We arrived early but we were able to check in then which was great. The room wasn't one of the larger twin rooms as it was cheaper, but felt spacious enough for the 2 single beds and comfortable chairs. There was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities.
The bathroom had a large square walk-in shower (which we requested as some have a bath). They supplied liquid hand soap and cream and shampoo , conditioner and body lotion in the shower which was rainfall plus regular shower.
We didn't book in advance for breakfast as there are plenty of places around to eat. We did however order breakfast ( buffet) one day, which we enjoyed. We ate one evening meal there and it was delicious.
There are comfortable seating areas near reception and toilets there too.
We chose the area as we loved the idea of the old town. A few minutes walk away is a Lidl,Tesco and Sainsbury. The hotel is in a quiet street but felt safe for 2 ladies even at night.
We took the tram from the airport and the hotel was an easy 15/20 min walk from the tram stop at St Andrews square.
The hotel was modern and well maintained in all areas and within reasonable walking distance to everywhere.
The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been the availability of Netflix or a better range of TV channels as we like to relax in our room in the evening, but it's not a deal breaker and I'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to others .

Very modern and well looked after hotel. Bar felt new and cosy, the rooms were very spacious, very clean and the beds were very comfy!

The room was nice and well appointed. Very clean apart from the carpet which felt a bit old and seemed like it needed a refresh.
Very expensive for the facilities - a garret room with a very small bathroom. No extras like cotton wool or cotton buds. The fridge did not work and there was no water for drinking. Breakfast was not included in the price.

Breakfast a bit on the pricey side, I think they should include at least a continental as part of the room rate..
I literally ate muesli and yoghurt the two mornings I was there..an option would,ve been lovely
Not much, unfortunately my room was positioned clise to a KFC...so all i smelt all night was fried chicken..this was rectified very professionally by the wonderful front desk..I was moved to an alternative room the following day

Beautiful hotel 30 min walk from princes street near ALL the bookshops ! Staff were fabulous rooms were so clean and comfortable will be back again !
The room being ready when we arrived but we were given a comfy spot to rest and refresh in and had our bags stored until the room was ready

Location
No heating in my room unable to open the shower room door . Staff indifferent. No apology when I was booking out. I would have expected some sort of acknowledgment. I can only conclude a lack of communication between staff.
