Excellent location near to all the attractions . Clean and modern hotel with friendly attentive staff. The twin room and bathroom very spacious and breakfast was great.
We didn't eat dinner in the hotel as the choice of food was to to our taste.

The hotel is well positioned in the city so you could walk to all the beautiful spots including a 15 min wasy walk to the castle. Hotel also has private parking for fee which was convenient. We also loved the fact the hotel upgraded us to a suite facing Arthurs seat. Lovely room!
Breakfast was rather low quality.. breads were not fresh and not much variety. We wanted to extend our checkout by one hour and understood any late checkout was only for a fee

Friendly staff, bright and large room. The bed was very comfortable.
The heater in our room was VERY loud. The first night was cold and we didn't feel any heat. We asked for an extra duvet, and someone checked the heater and got it working, if you turned it high.

My only gripe is that I couldn’t figure out how to turn the telly fully off so the light bugged me during the night!

On check out the male members of staff lacked customer service , I said I’m checking out and he put his hand out for my card , didn’t speak at all no how was your stay , nothing , the lady that checked us in was very friendly , put the guy in the morning to shame

The size of the room and the bathroom was good. Location was brilliant as to where I was going that evening. Room very clean. The seed card that you can take away to plant but also a nice reminder to the environment.
TV signal was appalling to the point I had to turn off the TV as the noise and the picture was impossible to watch.
AC it was freezing in the room but I had to hunt for the AC control but no then couldn't find instructions on how to turn up the heat, so I gave up and switched it off.
