- Location - Comfortable bed
- The room was tiny, dirty and unbearably hot. The windows wouldnt open more than a few inches. - The bathroom had black mould around the shower and sink. - There is no free storage facility. They offer lockers which are 10 per day and you can only pay with coins. Sometimes there is no space there at all.

Location is excellent, pretty much straight opposite the Market St entrance to the station so very convenient for travel. Also very close to Prince's St and the Royal Mile for shops, restaurants etc. Bathroom and toilet in room were very clean, bed was comfy enough, bedding was clean, good storage cage under bed, two plug sockets per bed (very handy) and a good little shelf above your bed for smaller items (somewhere to put my earrings, headphones etc at the end of the day). Free earplugs too! Really good value for money.
Communal toilets on first floor weren't the cleanest but appreciate that people are constantly in and out of them. A little cramped between beds, but this can easily be worked around.

The other guests were nice.
There was no facility to wash anything if you used the microwave. My food was thrown out even with a date on it.

The breakfast is amazing with yogurt, fruit, cereal, and options to make your own sandwich. The location is great. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The communal toilets were not very clean.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. The toilet was fairly clean. Overall, it's a good choice if you want to stay for 2 or 3 nights for a reasonable price.
The bed sheets weren't clean, but I asked them to change them, and the staff responded immediately. The pillow was very uncomfortable, and it seems to be used for years now. I really woke up with bad pain in my neck. The sound isolation wasn't very good as you could listen to every single person walking in the street unless you close the window, but this will not be practical in terms of ventilation.

The location is strategic to get Edinburghs tourist attractions- its literally two mins walking from the royal mile and in front of the train station
(1) I found out this morning that the USB plugs didnt work, so couldnt charge my mobile Ive e the night (2) cleanses could be improved, especially in the toilets

Location, location, location was great! Close to everything. Staff was pleasant and bedding was clean.
Unbelievably hot room with little ventilation from the windows. Fan was provided to help move the very hot room air; cord too short to pull in outside air. Though uncomfortable, and horribly inflated price, it served its purpose during Fringe Festival. Needs a deep cleaning and some TLC.
