Wonderful
Very well kept and clean guest house. Vivienne was very warm and helpful with tips/recommendations for my stay, and had a wonderful visitors book with tons of info. Bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh baked pastries every morning. The location was very convenient and I could hop on the local bus right in front of her place and be in center of town in 5-7 minutes.

Great host (Vivienne) who looked after us with great hospitality, local tips and fantastic breakfast. Great location and 15mins walk into the old town / Arthur’s seat.
Only that the bedroom was fairly small / tight room. It was comfortable and bed was good. It was also as we expected.

Fabulous breakfast and the kindest host. Bus stops very near and you are close to Arthur's seat. Would stay there again :)

We had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Guest House when staying in Edinburgh to see Taylor Swift. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, breakfast was wonderful and Vivienne was so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our whole stay. Location was also great for getting into the centre. I’d definitely stay here again :)

Vivienne’s hospitality was perfect - her friendly guidance to see the city ; a personalized cooperation ; serving a delicios breakfast in a cheery, sunny breakfast room. The room was well equipped , aesthetically decorated and very clean. The location was central and easily accessible by public transport. No wonder she’s always full!

Very clean, wonderfully comfortable bed. Vivienne was wonderful and had many great recommendations for dining, etc. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh tea and coffee, meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, juices, and more.
Our room was quite small, but that’s ok as you are out most of the time. Windows are left open for air, but there is a lot of street noise and traffic.

Breakfast was very good!
Location was a bit far from city centre.
We had a quad room that slept four of us. Bathroom extremely small for four! We took shifts to use the bathroom.
