The bathroom shower and bath with mood lighting.
Beds were really comfortable but found the pillows too soft.
Iron and ironing board in the room.
We made use of the pool but both lockers were jammed. Needing the help of staff to unlock.
The fridge had been removed from the room
A little far out from where my son had booked our lunches and dinners but that's a minor point.
The room was on floor 3 and there were workmen below us.

Room was lovely. Lounge was relaxing and great service. Great breakfasts with efficient friendly staff. Spa was lovely and my facial was wonderful!
Spa wasn't full access to the pool unless you paid. It was a bit tricky to find the hotel entrance if you were on foot and didn't realise that the Spa was the main entrance.

Great room, lovely view of Edinburgh Castle.
Overpriced breakfast. It was good food, however if you required a full Scottish it was a self service buffet. Would have been nicer to have had this included on the breakfast menu.
Using the pool was not a particularly relaxing experience. Didn't use the spa as it had to be booked in advance. Perhaps more information when booking the hotel in relation to the facilities would have been helpful.

Nice hotel in a good location with modern rooms, great facilities and a huge comfortable bed.
There was a problem with my booking and the ignorant girl on the front desk couldn't do anything and hung up the phone.
