The location was perfect, very central and easy to access everything you need to in Edinburgh. The hotel is decorated to a very high standard, which follows through to the room which is perfect.

Location is ideal.
Very comforyable bed
The cost of parking is excessive. £40 per night, reduced to £25 per night is very expensive for the city.
The cost for using the Spa is too expensive.
Both parking and the Spa should be reconsidered by the hotel and priced more favourably for hotel residents.

Perfect hotel, every detail was spot on. Rooms wanted for nothing. Staff attentive and friendly.
Breakfast was delicious and a huge selection.
The view from my rooms of the castle was perfect, and I really couldn’t fault this Hotel at all we’d loved it
Housekeeping was a little hit to miss. They didn’t make up the room one day until almost 5 o’clock in the afternoon when we were back in the room and the next day tried to do it at 8:30 in the morning while we were still getting ready, but apart from that couldn’t fold it

We had the BEST time if we are ever in Edinburgh again we will 100% be staying here for sure. Every member of staff was superb
Nothing really - we loved it. Maybe we could have had more in the mini bar and more water/drinks/capability in our rooms but we had a club room.... also the timing of the club room was challenging we always seemed to miss it!
