We upgraded to exec rooms with ever club lounge this made such a difference and was great value for money! We had amazing canapés with our drinks and service was exceptional in the afternoon!
Club lounge breakfast could be improved we had to self service everything and had takeaway coffee cups as none set out.

Everything else was disappointing. Rooms facing the back of the hotel are noisy due to a machine ventilation system, there’s no smart TV (something you usually find in B&B or 3 stars hotel) even connecting an HDMI cable doesn’t work. The bathrobe was stained. The reception staff doesn’t even listen to you — they changed our room multiple times without understanding what our issues were. There is only a pool as part of the package, not even a Jacuzzi which we found in many 4 stars hotels. The access to the SPA with all the comforts requires an additional fee. This hotel is definitely not worth its 5-star rating — truly awful. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Breakfast was nice and it was great to have e a takeaway box to add muffins etc although I did have to ask for a breakfast box the next morning. Cooked breakfast was delicious. The one spa was nice, the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect right opposite the conference centre which was where I needed to be.
The sauna which was free access felt very small, old and outdated. It would be fair to all hotel guests that they have access to a nice sauna, considering the prices of rooms are very high . The room with no view felt very claustrophobic and the rate is very overpriced. The thing I disliked the most is there was no toiletries, no ear buds, cotton pads and I didn't get fresh slippers the next day, which would have been useful as I used mine at the spa and left them there. Every hotel I've been to has toothbrush, cotton buds etc as standard, and so I feel for the price I paid, I would expect those small additions. I requested to reception that housekeeping deliver me some water, slippers, milk for tea etc but I never received them which was very frustrating.

Great location and friendly staff
Paid over 800 pounds for what turned out to be an average room. Nice and clean with a comfortable bed but small
Pool area has nice but told it would be an extra 45 pound to use jacuzzi etc. which I thought was cheeky

Old and tired room, small space, minimal facilities. They charge an extra £7 for breakfast if you don’t book it by midnight the day before!
