Hotel is well located, rooms are spacious, bed and bath clothing are great (really great), breakfast is very good (coffee however does take long to be served).
However the upgrade to the Castle View room was not worth at all because of an event with a horrific tent and loud music up until 11pm. They surely knew this in advance but did not mention anything during my reservation.
I told on my reservation that we were coming for a trip as a present for the birthday of our children. I asked if they could prepare something for them for when we checked in, but there was nothing.
If you have children, pool and spa are not for you. Usage times are too strict and short.
I feel that it was not money well spent, since it is such an expensive hotel

Location
A weeklong cocktail business outdoor event was held in the space in front of the hotel, very close to the room we were given at check-in. Every evening during our stay, from 6 PM to 10 PM, loud music was played by bands at the event. I mention this because when we checked in, we were not notified of this nightly occurrence and given the opportunity to choose a different room. I mentioned this to the manager upon checking out, and he was kind enough to give us a small credit for the inconvenience.

Liked the location and the room was clean and quiet.
One of the ladies behind the desk was very helpful.
We didn’t like the man who checked us in, so was a bad start.
Didn’t smile or look us in the eye, just seemed to say no to everything we asked and read a script.
Also, breakfast was very haphazard, so we mainly ate out.

A further deposit was taken which won’t be returned for 7 days at check in. Having to pay extra to use spa when already paid £260 for a double room with no view feels a bit off. The bar and room service stopping at 11.30pm was early for us. No hairdryer in room. Fire alarm went off which can’t be helped, but staff did not communicate with everyone stood outside at all to keep us updated. Luckily it wasn’t raining.

The glass bathroom in the room giving little or no privacy! Just why!!?? If there was a least a proper door to the toilet part it would have been acceptable! NOBODY like no privacy bathrooms in hotels!! Do a survey!

Good location, friendly staff, very clean, comfy bed, good shower.
Inefficient dim lighting in room, hospitality tray items not refilled, cups not replaced. Breakfast was poor- constantly had to ask for buffet items to be topped up, no a la carte breakfast options available on Sunday, and no hot buffet on Monday, only a la carte! Unable to make toast as the machine hadn't been switched on and nobody knew how to switch it on. . Long wait time for table service and hot drinks.

I liked the rooms, we had two rooms connected with a castle view and it was very nice and spacious. Josh helped me to book connected rooms , breakfast was delicious and also we had a choice to order from menu , very nice staff and professional. Also I want to thank Adam, he always greeted us at door with a smile and nice attitude.
There was a fee to be able to go to jacuzzi and steam room which I didn’t like
