Overlooking Edinburgh Castle, the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is located in the financial district, next to the West End business and entertainment area and a five-minute walk from Princes Street, 1640 feet from Edinburgh Castle. The luxurious, elegant rooms provide free wireless Internet access, interactive satellite flat-screen TV, small sitting areas, and bathrooms with a separate bath and walk-in shower. The hotel maintains a commendable standard. The facilities, particularly the spa and gym, are considered among the finest in Edinburgh. While the location is slightly removed from the city center, it remains within convenient walking distance.
While not an issue, the spa operates as a separate entity and is subject to commercial charges. A minor observation pertains to the in-room lighting. For individuals applying makeup, the current lighting conditions can occasionally present challenges.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The room was spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean. Staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. I was apprehensive about staying in such a luxurious hotel with young children but everyone was so accommodating. I'm thinking of making it an annual tradition to stay there.

Location is fabulous. Standard rooms are comfortable and clean, heating is easily controlled and the windows open. The spa ( extra cost) is great.
Standard rooms have limited view which was expected. The lighting in the room was very hard to work out, overly complicated.

Good location, friendly staff
I used the Spa and I caught a chill. There was no heating within the spa area. Pool water was cold. Stayed in the sauna for 20mins without breaking a drop of sweat. There was a lot of cold air (draught) coming in making it a unpleasant experience. I wanted to use jacuzzi and was told that I need to pay extra as their complimentary pass only includes pool and sauna. Breakfast was very expensive and not worth the price as not much variety for £27 a head

Very clean, my only problem was the ambient lighting being some with reasons to put the big light on ( so they say in the north) some lighting was dull but it looked fantastic and it was an excuse for me to switch off
