Good location, near several restaurants, a short walk to the main sights, and Brewdog. Excellent breakfast. Top notch, really. Staff was always helpful. Ample parking.
I think they turned the conservation dial a bit too much as water pressure was non existent.

It was very convenient for the EICC
The soundproofing was shocking & I was really disturbed by the people upstairs crashing around at all hours. I also think it was overpriced & there are far better 5 star options in Edinburgh

Reasonably central.
A peculiar bathroom door toilet arrangement. The hotel generally has started to look its age. Charges too much for parking and the accommodation and use of some facilities is overpriced.

Loved the view in the Castle suite. The Spa was fun. The One Club breakfast was good, with a lot of choice.
Also the One Club free drinks and canapés was enjoyable.
As I have mobility problems and husband has Parkinson’s it would have been nice to be nearer to Princess Street, so spent a lot of money on taxis.
