Exceptional
Sheraton was very grand and had a great location which made it easy to get around.. Our room was very nice and clean. The staff especially the concierge was very helpful and had great recommendations.
I would have like to tried out the rooftop hydropool but it was not included in our stay. I did not think it was worth the extra fee as we were on a tight schedule.

The staff were so kind and helpful. We managed to get pool time, sauna time, use the fitness center, and book a spa treatment: massages. The breakfast was delicious with many offerings for hot food as well as gluten-free options. The location made walks to restaurants for lunch and dinner so easy. Excellent choices within a 10 minute walk. This hotel was a splurge for us, we could only afford 1 night, so we made it count! And we would absolutely stay here again.
The couples massage was cancelled the morning of, however they re-booked us at separate times. Nothing could have been helped by this, as a staff member was sick. The rescheduling put us at not having time to pack up after the massages, so the spa staff called the hotel staff for us to ask if we could have an extension on our check-out time. The hotel staff gave us 30 minutes extra. I think it would have felt less rushed if they would have given us 1 hour longer.

The location is quite nice.
I’m genuinely disappointed with my stay at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, which is marketed as a 5-star property but falls far below that standard.
The rooms are outdated and clearly in need of renovation. More concerning, the windows are not properly sealed because the cold air comes through, making the room uncomfortable and cold, especially at night. The heating system does not work effectively, so despite adjusting it, the room remained cold throughout the night.
Water pressure is extremely poor, practically nonexistent. For a hotel of this level, this is unacceptable and makes even basic things like showering frustrating. The shower itself is also very small, which makes it even more inconvenient. Even the toiletries are subpar. The shampoo is low quality and not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
The bathroom design is also questionable. It is mostly glass with no proper walls, offering little privacy, which is quite uncomfortable and not practical.
The pillows are extremely poor quality. They are so thin that even sleeping on a sweater would be more comfortable. This made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep.
Housekeeping was also below expectations. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail was inconsistent and not what you would expect from a hotel of this supposed calibre.
Breakfast was another major letdown. The selection is limited, and the overall quality is poor. We ordered eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine, both of which were noticeably oversalted and unpleasant to eat. For a 5-star hotel, both variety and execution should be significantly better.
The TV is essentially useless, as it does not connect to Wi-Fi, which is a basic expectation nowadays.
For the price, it would be far better to stay at other nearby 5-star hotels such as the W or Hilton, which offer a significantly higher standard and much better value for money.

The level of noise throughout the night was unacceptable. I was unable to sleep due to constant running and heavy footsteps from the room above, which were clearly audible, as if there was no proper sound insulation at all. It genuinely felt as though the ceiling was made of paper.
When I raised this issue with the staff, twice no action was taking, or even change my room.

The atmosphere was the first thing I adored — quiet, warm, and instantly relaxing, like stepping into a little pocket of calm. The staff were wonderfully kind and attentive, making every moment feel easy and looked after. My room was spotless and cosy, the perfect sanctuary after exploring the city. The spa offered the exact healing pause I needed.
I left feeling lighter, rested, and a little bit enchanted!

Great location, very close to the castle and city center. Overall room was comfortable.
No bathroom / toilet privacy as it's sliding glass door, if you stay by yourself it's fine, otherwise not great. Breakfast restaurant sometimes was quite busy, food selection was alright. Plates were visibly dirty, when it was busy - service was very slow.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The room was spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean. Staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. I was apprehensive about staying in such a luxurious hotel with young children but everyone was so accommodating. I'm thinking of making it an annual tradition to stay there.

Location and club lounge and staff.
Staff especially pool side are horrible , pointless taking your family for a swim in the very short space of time you get!
Listing 2 twin ands it’s not it’s 2 single beds.
Over priced for experience.
Unwelcoming staff on arrival.

The property is in an excellent location, and the rooms are comfy.
When bathing the door didn’t seal so all the water went out to the bathroom floor, and it made a mess every time. Also, when having breakfast the plates weren’t clean, you could see all the grease or food that they were not clean well.
