Swimming pool appeared to be quite dated shower in room had poor pressure ac hard to control parking costs excessive would not bring a vehicle if can be avoided

The level of noise throughout the night was unacceptable. I was unable to sleep due to constant running and heavy footsteps from the room above, which were clearly audible, as if there was no proper sound insulation at all. It genuinely felt as though the ceiling was made of paper.
When I raised this issue with the staff, twice no action was taking, or even change my room.

The atmosphere was the first thing I adored — quiet, warm, and instantly relaxing, like stepping into a little pocket of calm. The staff were wonderfully kind and attentive, making every moment feel easy and looked after. My room was spotless and cosy, the perfect sanctuary after exploring the city. The spa offered the exact healing pause I needed.
I left feeling lighter, rested, and a little bit enchanted!

Great location, very close to the castle and city center. Overall room was comfortable.
No bathroom / toilet privacy as it's sliding glass door, if you stay by yourself it's fine, otherwise not great. Breakfast restaurant sometimes was quite busy, food selection was alright. Plates were visibly dirty, when it was busy - service was very slow.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The room was spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean. Staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. I was apprehensive about staying in such a luxurious hotel with young children but everyone was so accommodating. I'm thinking of making it an annual tradition to stay there.

Location and club lounge and staff.
Staff especially pool side are horrible , pointless taking your family for a swim in the very short space of time you get!
Listing 2 twin ands it’s not it’s 2 single beds.
Over priced for experience.
Unwelcoming staff on arrival.
No water pressure for a bath.
Very noisy room with what sounded like a jet engine running all night.

The property is in an excellent location, and the rooms are comfy.
When bathing the door didn’t seal so all the water went out to the bathroom floor, and it made a mess every time. Also, when having breakfast the plates weren’t clean, you could see all the grease or food that they were not clean well.

Location was good
We had booked a DeLuxe Room and had to upgrade at £40 per night for a view, not agreeable. Also we asked to use he SPA but we didn't want a full 3 hour session so asked if we could have a reduction in price, we only wanted an hour, there were not flexible, it was just one deal ! at £45.50 per head we decided it was unreasonable, given we were paying a high price for the room, plus the upgrade, so we just didn;t use the spar. Very disappointing as it is something we always like to do when we travel.. They should have been flexible.

Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa hits all the marks, great rooms, excellent facilities, courteous staff and great location. Hotel reception staff went out of their way to help us with room upgrade, club access and onsite parking. Room Service and Housekeeping are second to none.
We couldn't stay longer. The in room dining and club dining save us from trying to find eating options andended up being cheaper to eat in. We loved our stay.
