Really comfortable bed- spacious suite, complimentary bar & snacks at club lounge Friendly staff.
One spa was lovely.
Lack of signage or directions. We had treatments booked at spa but found check in information for spa bit vague- also disappointed with after treatment relaxation area- I expected much more luxurious surroundings, better lighting, magazines & complimentary drink other than lemon water. Did not realise we had to go back into spa to get wristbands for one spa access. Disappointed breakfast options at club lounge were not more fancy- thought there would have been better selection of pastries/ breads/ cooked breakfasts.

Hotel and Spa staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely room with a view of the castle. Breakfast was outstanding and we would thoroughly recommend ordering from it.

Our stay at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh was excellent overall. The location was perfect for us as we were attending a show at the Usher Hall, which is directly across the road from the hotel. The hotel itself was spotless throughout and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming.
We also visited the hydro spa, which was half price for guests at £47 per person for a 3-hour visit. It included a great selection of saunas and steam rooms, along with a heated outdoor rooftop pool which was really nice and made for a relaxing experience.
Parking was also very reasonable for a city centre hotel at only £25 for 24 hours for guests.
Breakfast was very good with both a buffet and a selection of items available to order from the menu. We found the buffet especially impressive with a great variety of choice and everything was very tasty.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return.
The only small point for improvement would be the avocado and poached eggs dish we ordered. Although it was nice, there was far too much avocado on the sourdough bread, so we ended up having to scrape quite a lot off.

The shower was terrible, no pressure or power, had to run in circles to get wet. Temperature control was an issue too
