cheap and excellent location
Some parts of the room were nonfunctional; light on my bed didn't work, one shower was not draining properly, etc. Many of the staff were nice, but some had an attitude I did not appreciate as a guest. Dorm was close to the bar area which was busy and noisy until well into the evening. I did not personally mind this but sensitive sleepers might find it difficult.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was very good.
The facilities were poor. The cleanliness of the room was also poor. The walls were very dirty. The window was not closing properly.

Everything was mostly great. The bunk bed was spacious, bathrooms and showering place were clean and abundant. I didn't need to wait too long for my turn to use them.
There were curtains for the beds which was great cuz I could have my own privacy. And the location was perfect as well, it's near the train station so I didn't need to walk too far when I first arrived late at night to check in.
Staff were friendly and it is convenient to borrow a hair dryer. There are some accommodations ot there where they ask you to deposit your identity card/passport for each time you borrow it. However, for this one, you just needed to make a deposit and you can borrow it for the rest of your stay, then get back your deposit upon returning it.
The wi fi connection is not that strong. It gets disconnected every now and then. If you connected for the first time and you still don't have Internet connection, make sure to ask the staff cuz you needed to sign in before being able to use it. At least for my phone, it didn't ask me to sign in and I had to go the reception and ask for further support on this.
There are no lamps in your bed, so when it's after 10pm-ish unfortunately you will need to either use your phone in the dark or do your other things outside of the room.
There's no power sockets in each beds. I was lucky that there were two by the bed I was assigned to. But it isn't necessarily the case for others in the room.
This may just be minor, I had to make my own bed when I first arrived late at night. It is not a big deal but it might be tiring for those who had a long trip arriving in the location. And it might cause a slight nuisance to others as this is a bunk bed, especially when arriving late at night.

Disappointing
First of all, I want to say that the reception staff was great and welcoming. The hostel is well located close to many important places in the city.
But regarding my stay, I have never slept on mattresses so uncomfortable, it is not at all ideal for a restful sleep. The room was barely clean, I found hair on the cushion and on the floor. The walls above the bed where I was sleeping were dirty, there was a blood spot on the wall of the toilet. The bathroom is very, very small and I don’t think it’s cleaned every day. Only the bins are emptied. The inn is very noisy, no one follows the rules if there are any. There’s noise all night, people walk hard and speak loudly in the corridors. I could hear the steps of people from upstairs above. I could hear the noise of the street just below, of the bars. Check-in is only done at 3 PM and you have to leave before 10 AM, which is weird because in other places it’s often 12 PM... If I had known, I would have gone elsewhere.
