Location is very good, 5min walk from the main street. Room was clean and comfortable with great curtains to block early sunrise. Bathroom was nice and clean with soft towels. The room had no airconditioning but I guess it is not always necessary.

Great hotel if you want the “Scottish” experience. Lovely historic property. Delicious breakfast served in an elegant dining room. Staff was top notch. Quiet neighborhood but only 15 minutes walk from main attractions.

We have stayed a number of times at the Royal Scots Club and without fail find the staff to be welcoming and very helpful. On this occassion we requested a room change, which was accomodated with minimum fuss and we really appreciated. It is a lovely place to stay.

Great location, relatively good value for money, lovely staff, availability when my flight home was finally cancelled at 00.15!
Nothing - would have liked to stay longer (perhaps offer an incentive for existing guests to extend?) & to visit Portobello Beach (weather superb).
