Gorgeous bar, central location, rooms were spotless
A lot of Christmas parties were happening in the evenings, so it was very busy and loud. Not that that really bothered us too much, but it may bother some people.

Perfect location .Our room was spacious lovely comfortable bed .I would definitely recommend staying here
Mix up with our meal .We stayed in one night and ate in the hotel.For some reason the young man who took our order brought our starters along with our main meal..So someone who ordered Calamari came out at the same time and her beef dinner ..I explained you don't have a plate of Olives with a beef dinner. .He did reduce the bill by 20% as there were 8 of us .

Location and staff
Needs better work on cleaning the bathroom. A bit over priced. Breakfast needs to be more organized like having a staff dedicated at the breakfast reception.

Fantastic location, very friendly staff
Paid a reasonable rate for 2 nights in a good sized room and then a much higher rate for 1 night in a smaller room that was a bit cramped and a very long way from the lifts. I ordered a ploughman’s from room service which was very poor quality and not a proper ploughman’s - just poor quality meat and cheese piled high and a meagre ration of bread. When we checked into the second room, the body wash and shampoo containers were completely empty. When we politely requested they be filled, we came back to find a mountain of toiletries simply dumped in our room with the original empty ones still fastened to the wall. Even in the better larger room, the TV wasn’t working and had to be replaced.

The location was great for both exploring the city and the train station. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.
The guy on the night shift was not very friendly when we tried to discuss checking in early. We had travelled for over 30 hours, he told us the room was vacant but we had to pay £80 early check in fee and also still had to leave and come back later to access the room, not great service.
