Located on the Royal Mile; convenient to the Castle, St. Giles, John Knox House, hundreds of shops and restaurants. Room, bed, lavatory all were on a par with the best anywhere. Staff efficient, friendly. Will return anytime visiting Edinburgh.

It was well positioned, the room was comfortable.
A lot of noise from furniture being moved late at night for 3 nights running. Breakfast extremely busy and very close table's. Staff were late cleaning our room, difficult to find the stairs to breakfast as lifts were busy. Staff asked if we were leaving even though it was our till 12.

Fire alarm after midnight. We were sent to our room after the first alarm and the second alarm went off. Absolutely horrendous. No explanation what causes it or anything. Poor.
