The room where perfect and the swimming pool
That you couldn't pay with cash, they told us it was cashless pay when we got there it took me a hour for a friend to help me to get money sent over to my card or I could have been out on the street that night they need to put it on ever website to let people know

Location brilliant , easy parking with public car around the back of the hotel and you can receive a discounted rate . Breakfast good , caters for every nationally.
Had a little problem which turn into a good laugh with the girls on reception ! The TV didn’t work , tried 3 remotes , found out the switch behind the wall TV had been switched off . But at 2.30AM the TV came on , on Its own !!! and at 6.30AM bet the previous guest had switched it off ……. Or be warned could be the ghost of room 448

This Hotels Location is superb if you are a visitor from another country wanting access to the iconic heart of Edinburgh.
My room option was basic double room which roomy and very well laid out with quality...I was previously offered an upgrade for a fee but this room was great.
The lobby bar restaurant could offer more menu choices and its drinks are a little on the pricey side however convienient.

Centrally located to the main attractions. Since it was at the midpoint of the mile, you could pop back into the hotel for a rest or a dry set of clothing without wasting time. The beverage cart in the lobby was continuously stocked with water, hot tea and coffee with hot milk and sugar. This was a nice attention to detail and thoroughly enjoyed by us as we were in and out of the cold throughout the day.
