Wonderful location right on the Royal Mile! Staff was friendly and knowlegeble with good recommendations for tours and transportation.
it can be noisy at night as there are several pubs on the street below - the hotel did provide foam ear plugs however. it is a busy large urban hotel with large tour groups coming and going so the elevators can become overly busy during peak arrival and departure times so plan accordingly.

Fantastic staff: breakfast room, reception, cleaning and maintenance -all great.
The room was comfortable and the hotel is in a great location.
I wish the menu in the bar was more varied and/or changed during the day. However there are so many other places to eat that it wasn't really an issue.

We could t fault our stay in any way. Our room was brilliant size for a twin. Location fantastic, within walking distance of all main attractions and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had everything you could have wanted and filled you up for the day. Overall would definitely return and recommend.

A night with messy and terrible experience. The most ridiculous thing was that all our luggages were missing because of check-out without residents’ agreement. This caused a lot of trouble that we hardly caught the planned train. All lifts are awfully slow and stupidly arranged. The mattresses are too soft to have a good sleep there.

The blinds did not cover the east-facing window entirely. Therefore, an involuntary wake-up call every morning around 6. Rather enoying :-(
Size of the bathroom at the lower end for the price tag.
I would have expected a Nespresso coffeemaker in fhe room.
