Great position a short walk from the rail station easy to reach tourist spots
I'm only 5ft tall the sink in the bathroom was quite high and the shower was over the bath, getting out was difficult as the side was quite high

The beautiful dining room and comfortable lounge with window views of the park led us to choose to stay and eat there several times rather than search out other options.
The shower was very hard to figure out and therefore a wild temperature experience. The tub was great, however the very intense overhead light gave the impression of being on an operating table. Not as relaxing as I'd hoped.

Everyone says location and they’re right, but it’s also a nice hotel. I’m a typical stocky American and it was great. Staff is brilliant. Stayed there 4 nights of my 7 in Scotland and will be back. Hotel employees at the Front Desk will tremendous
There were some comments on water pressure: I stayed in two rooms and they were both fine.

Location
Booked superior double room but it didn’t feel like a superior room. Table/chairs not useable, view didn’t live up to expectations. Didn’t get the complimentary Prosecco as cited on the hotel website for this room. Decor a little shabby/tired & service boxes in room didn’t close. Badly designed bathroom, small and sink not useable due to ‘height’ of vanity unit & unworkable plug! Overall a little disappointing, having stopped at this hotel before the extra it cost for this ‘superior’ room simply wasn’t worth it.

My bed was literally warped. They gave me a room with the rug pulled out, which was obvious from the debris around the baseboard. I also has the pleasure of having a crack in the wall and the paint appeared to he as old as the location.
