Old very cute hotel with the best position. A few minutes walking to everything to visit in Edinburgh. Position and view from the breakfast room are amazing and I also liked the decoration inside and the vintage atmosphere. Staff was also friendly and helpful.
For the price I paid I though the room was going to be a bit bigger and with a better view and a bit more new (I loved the vintage atmosphere but some things could be more taken care of and renewed).

The bath tub gurgled up foul smelling liquid, the ceiling leaked, and there was hair in our towels

Where the hotel is situated…very central indeed
The entrance to hotel not good ie I know this is a listed building etc but the heavy glass door is poor when you try to get in with 2 heavy cases…also have to climb with said cases up a flight of stairs….this is going to be a on going problem for hotel…
