Good location. Walking distance from the train station. A few blocks from the Royal Mile. Breakfast was included.
No elevator to get up to the reception area. Stairs were tricky with heavy bags. Outside area was noisy at night.

Location of the hotel was great, right on Princes Street, near Waverley train station. The room was very nice and clean and spacious.
The lift wasn't working, and we were on the 257th floor. Well, not quite, but we stayed on the top floor and I lost count of the flights of stairs we went up and down at least twice/three times a day.

Great location, central to everything. Delicious breakfast and spacious room
Some facilities like lights didn’t work in the room or flickered but managed with lamps etc so wasn’t a huge issue

This is a very nice hotel and the location for our needs was perfect as we were traveling by train and it was very close by. The only down side to the hotel is the lack of elevator to the ground level. It was difficult carrying suitcases up stairs to the lobby. Although the staff were extremely nice and would have carried them for us if we had asked.

The size of the room much larger than expected enough room to spread out suitcases. The lobby bar was also an excellent place to relax and enjoy sandwiches and a drink.
We stayed facing the back lane and it was incredibly noisy with metal clanging construction sounds at all hours of the morning as well as people coming back from bars.

Excellent location and a spacious room.
There are a lot of stairs and, unfortunately, no elevator.
The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
The room categories can also be misleading. There are two types of rooms: an interior room and an interior room with a window. The distinction between the two should be much clearer to guests when booking.
The services are also very limited. For example, we requested an extra box of tissues, but the staff member seemed surprised by the request!
I believe basic amenities such as tissues should be readily available upon request.
