Pleasant
It was clean and great location
The bed was rock hard, the lift kept breaking down and having to walk up 5 flights of stairs with knee cartilage issues was hard, had to prop the window open with a coat hanger, the noise from outside early in the morning was very bad, and the staff need retraining. (You shouldn’t have to take a tower fan or ironing board with iron up 5 flights of stairs, it’s the staffs job to take it to your room)

The location was good
One old lift, broke down one day and we were on the top floor and I have arthritis, breakfast was basic, not worth going down for, the reception staff were very abrupt and one in particular very unfriendly, would never go back here, not worth the money,

The Location is brilliant , this is the third time I’ve stayed here . The beds are comfy and the room was nice and cosy without being too warm . Great hot powerful shower & good variety at breakfast . We ate in the restaurant at night and the menu was very reasonable , only gripe was the plates could be warmer to keep the food warm and vegetables with the mains instead of cherry tomatoes or lettuce .
The stairs up to reception, just unfortunate there isn’t a lift up .
Some of the reception staff could be a bit more welcoming , the bar staff and restaurant staff were lovely .

The location was 100%.
Our room was very disappointing. It was a very small room with a double bed and the view was looking out at a building site where there was a lot of noise. Also, when we arrived, I found the receptionist to be very off-putting as she couldn't understand when I was telling her my name and surname and not the friendliest.

The location couldn’t be more central. Very convenient for access to the airport buses. Comfortable beds.
No disability access, even though the clientele, during our stay at least, appeared to be primarily elderly. The one lift broke down a little before 7 in the morning, we were woken up by the person trapped inside ringing the alarm and we had to walk 5 floors down, at check out time, with our luggage. I felt very sorry for those who were climbing up the stairs to their rooms on the 5th floor as we were walking down. Our room was very small and quite tired.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. The room was comfortable, and I loved the added touch of shortbread provided with the tea and coffee, haven't had that in any other hotel I've stayed in before.

The location was excellent and the dining/lounge were very nice
The bedroom was dated and in poor state and the bathroom was worst of all. The lack of heating was terrible and the wind whistled in through the windows

The location of the property was amazing!
We had asked prior to our stay to have a room near the elevator due to my mother’s limited mobility. We were put in the room furthest away. We knew there was some steps to get to reception but we were also told we can press the bell for assistance to get our luggage up the stairs. We pressed the bell and no one came. Luckily I can carry the luggage up but just had to make a few trips.
We also had a man try to come into our room whilst we were in bed at 8.50am. Luckily the chain was on the door. I shouted hello and he quickly shut the door and ran off. By the time I got out the bed and got the chain off the door he had ran off. We went and spoke to reception and the lady we initially spoke to was lovely but then she got who I was assuming was the manager and she said it will have been house keeping. When I told her he hadn’t knocked and just ran off she said ‘well he’s a bit disabled’. This is not a response you expect to get from a manager of a hotel and our hotel room did not need house keeping as we were only staying the one night.
