Exceptional
The Old Town Chambers is ideally situated on The Royal Mile. Our room was down a Close just around the corner from the main entrance of the hotel, which meant it was very quiet and private. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We appreciated having a washer/dryer in the suite, though it required some help to operate. We also had a delicious dinner at the restaurant.

It was very spacious, bed was very comfortable and shower was great.
Lack of mirrors for make-up application. Sofa bed mattress was very thin and uncomfortable.

Nice location in old town. Were accommodating to room change request.
They initially had us in a very loud / noisy room on the ground floor with paper thin windows into courtyard — they moved us to something better afterward which was appreciated, but the format of the room still felt off. The family suite is not a 2BR but instead has a closet nook with poor ventilation

The location was absolutely perfect for what we wanted to do in Edinburgh.
Our Internet seem to be struggling in our room, but we never really told anybody about it because we were only there for two evening so it is easy to deal with.

The location is unbeatable. Room was clean and amazing and we got upgraded, which enhanced our stay. The breakfast is amazing. Thanks to the lovely team at Old Town Chambers :) definitely won’t be our last visit!

Beautiful room but we were unaware there was a marathon downtown the day we checked in. The roads were closed and we couldn’t get to the hotel, tried to call the hotel but their phones weren’t working. Added some stress to the day. The WiFi was down for a period of time.

We had a two bedroom suite, the first option was outside the hotel down many steps and across from a bar. The sign on the door said “ shhh, People sleeping”. It did not feel like part of the hotel with the multiple separate entrances, or safe give the outside entrance. They offered us another “suite” which was inside the hotel, but the elevator was not working and both suits’ second “room had no windows or closet, and the mattress was fit between the two walls. Couch was very uncomfortable. The suite was very clean and aesthetically appointed. The staff was kind and came quick to help with luggage as the elevator was out.

This is like an apartment so it has a stove . The staff is incredible and the breakfast was delicious to have every morning. The location of this property is also unmatched. From airport we took the airlink bus and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the drop off. We loved it here.
The dryer ended up not working and the heater went out on us for a while. The staff was helpful to immediately remedy these things though.

Location was good.
I books over 7/8 months ago and ended up in a room outfitted for wheelchairs. Happy they have these for those that need them, but for the price we were dissatisfied with low, bed that really needed to be replaced on the most used side, no counter space at all in bathroom and a “shower room” that ended up a mess. This was Not the room we requested or paid for. The hotel said they were unfortunately full and could not move us.
