TV remote broken, lamp in room intermittent, but breakfast was awful. Tasteless sausage, watery tasteless porridge, watery orange juice. Seems like cheap ingredients now.

Room excellent (received upgrade without request). Very much appreciate the ability to get early check-in, required paying 10 pounds/hour but allowed access to room at 11am vs 3pm. Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast quality very good.
Prices very high for room, for breakfast. Constant pressure to join loyalty program not appreciated.

Pool and location are great 5 minutes walk to the tram station and retail park across the road to! Rooms were comfy and spacious! You can also connect ur own phone or device to the tv to watch netflix etc!
Breakfast was subpar compared to the novotel within the city so we didn’t even go for breakfast the second night we stayed.

The buffet breakfast was excellent.
Easy to reach from the airport if you have a car.
Housekeeping staff was excellent.
View from my room of the train and tram line and the trash bins was disappointing.
TV in the workout area is located on a wall such that you can't watch it from the treadmills.
The flight attendants staying at the hotel took up a lot of space in the lobby.
There is no shuttle to the airport so to take a taxi to the airport was approximately $40.

Luggage storage was convenient and the hotel was just a short walk from the tram and train directly into Waverly. It made for a comfortable and convenient stop from the airport to serve as a hub for activities in Edinburgh and direct access to the highways leading out of town.
Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of construction going on in the area, so the ambiance of the location was less than ideal.

The check in is smooth and the hotel is very comfortable with generous rooms and everything you might need including a fridge. The restaurant was slightly pricey for the food on offer but the service was friendly and efficient. The convenience of the tram stop from the airport and into town was wonderful.
Whilst I have said how good the location for transport is our room was very noisy with trains and trams so we did not sleep well. I checked the window to see if it was fully closed it was so loud.

The rooms were very quiet with good air ventilation, and the bed and pillows very comfortable. I haven't had such a good sleep in a while in a hotel. The breakfast was decent, although not much variety. And the location is pretty good with tram and train stops right next to the hotel.
