Disappointing
The property had a booking on Saturday which meant that facilities for the other guests such as bar where out of bounds. The fact that we were not advised prior to booking was extremely poor considering we were also a large booking. Perhaps the function room could have been used ??? Or offered to the other guests but instead we felt like an inconvience…..very poor

One of the reception staff was rude she just shouldn’t work in hospitality.

The length of time for parking charges was not very clear had an email at eleven o'clock at night telling us the parking time had run out and had to pay again.

The staff were pleasant and welcoming, the room was clean, well appointed and bigger than expected. the breakfast was excellent and had a lot of chose. location was good, easy to access and find, links to the city centre were excellent with the tram stop being a few minutes walk away.
Car parking was an additional charge which wasn't really clear when booking. Soundproofing of the room from the train and tram lines wasn't a good as expected, being that they would have been there when the hotel was built. The mattress was very firm so may not suit all visitors.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint following my recent stay at your hotel.
While I was generally satisfied with certain aspects of my visit, I was extremely disappointed to discover that I had been charged £60 for parking for a single night. I do not recall this charge being clearly communicated at the time of booking or check-in, and I find the amount to be excessive for such a short stay.
Had I been made fully aware of this fee in advance, I would have considered alternative arrangements. Transparency regarding additional charges is essential, and this experience has left me feeling misled.
I kindly request that you review this charge and provide a justification for the cost. Additionally, I would appreciate consideration of a refund or partial reimbursement as a gesture of goodwill.

The hotel is located just a few minutes from the Edinburgh Park Station tram stop, from where you can quickly reach both the city center and the airport. The room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. Cleaning was done daily, and the towels were changed regularly.
The breakfast is very varied, with high-quality products. You will definitely find something to eat regardless of your tastes. The hotel also has a heated swimming pool where you can relax comfortably when the weather outside is not that friendly.
I’ve saved the hotel staff for last to highlight their professionalism. Everyone, from the reception staff to those handling breakfast or housekeeping, were extremely kind, always smiling, and ready to help. Congratulations to all!
I highly recommend Novotel Edinburgh Park to everyone!
