Good option to visit Edinburgh. Tram is right around the corner and takes you to Princess Street in 15 minutes.
Hotel itself is nice. New rooms, good beds. Kids loved the indoor pool.
Very expensive for what you are getting.
Big downside: the rooms with the even numbers are facing the tram and train tracks. You can hear the trains coming and going every couple of minutes. For light sleepers that’s not recommended. Rooms with the uneven numbers are quiet.
Parking is not free (mentioned on booking.com), costs 12 £ per day.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, excellent customer service from staff at reception and breakfast area, location was convenient with tram close by offering good connections to city area. Overall a wonderful experience with family.

All the staff we encountered were lovely. So helpful and friendly. Comfortable and spacious rooms. The restaurant is nice. Great location near a tram that goes into Edinburgh and conveniently across the road from a Tesco and other shops. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect location for our family weekend visit to Edinburgh. The kids absolutely loved the pool!!

The hotel is ideally situated near the motorway on the western outskirts of Edinburgh. There are good nearby transport links into the city centre, including the tram.
Staff were always friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was great - lots of choice. We also had an evening meal that was enjoyable.
The shower was great, and the availability of air conditioning on warmer days is a useful facility.
There is some road traffic noise intrusion (which we're not used to) when leaving the window open, but this isn't too much of an inconvenience.

Person at the reception was very friendly and accommodative. He provider all necessary info and helped to register in ALL
Pizza in restoran was good. Building and facilities were in a good conditions. Hotel is located very close to tram station and shops, including largest Tesco we visited in Scotland.
Breakfast was awful, we tried once and after explored other options outside of the hotel.
