Was upgraded on arrival after a 3 hour drive from a 33 mile run event which was a joy to hear. The gentleman on the desk was in no hurry and talked us through membership, allowing us to get free parking. He didn’t let us leave until we had no questions unanswered. Breakfast was lovely and the 1200 checkout is super convenient.
One of the main reasons I chose the hotel was for the pool but it was shut. However, this was out of the hotels control and the way we were greeted by all staff and the stay we enjoyed, outweighed any of this.

The staff was very nice and pleasant. Breakfast was really delicious although a little bit pricey. The beds were very soft and comfortable.
Hotel is located near tram and train stop so you can hear everything in the room

The size of the suit and the free parking
The coffee machine was broken, staff were not very friendly to us but were to other tourists. Very poor lock for the balcony which meant not very safe. Not worth the money for the upgrade

Our corridor smelt like someone had died. One Burger King bag left outside a room completely contaminated a whole floor. Not acceptable.
