- Most of the staffs at the restaurant serving breakfast. They give a feeling that they are serving you reluctantly. That’s not how one would want to start the day. Very opposite to reception staffs. We had to find out carefully who is willing to serve.

Great stay at the Novotel Edinburgh Park!
I originally booked this hotel as a relaxing way to end my time in Edinburgh before flying home, but after staying here, I honestly think it's a fantastic option for any visit to the city.
The location is excellent. Both the ScotRail station and the tram stop are just a 4-minute walk away. The train takes only about 8 minutes directly into Waverley Station in the city centre, while the tram reaches Edinburgh Airport in around 20 minutes, making both sightseeing and airport transfers incredibly convenient.
I really appreciated being just outside the busy city centre. It was peaceful and quiet, yet still close to restaurants and a nearby shopping centre. It felt much more enjoyable than staying at a typical airport hotel.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of hot and continental options to start the day. I also loved having access to the pool, steam room, and fitness facilities after long days of exploring.
As a bonus, my room on the second floor even had a view of Edinburgh Castle in the distance, which was a lovely way to end my trip.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Edinburgh.

We liked that the location to Edinburgh Waverley was very good. We were presently surprised with the microwave on our floor. Good idea. The facilities offered was very good Sauna, steam room, gym and swimming pool. Very good. The domestic cleaner she was very good.
Our room was located at the back of the building. To be woken up just gone 7:00 o'clock on 3 mornings by the recycling truck, the bin truck and what might have a hydraulic truck possibly cleaning the drains.

The lift wasnt working too well it wouldn’t go to level 4 so we had to get off at level 3 and drag our suitcases to level 4 through the stairs but other than that it was lovely the service and cleanliness

The price. Jusy because all the hotels knew luke combs was playing at Murrayfield I had to pay 315 for a night which is absolutely ridiculous but I sadly had no choice and I like this hotel

Easy access to tram line and city centre (as it’s on airport side of tramline as the line is closed after west end), nice breakfast
Beds were uncomfortable, limited floor space with the sofa bed out (2 adults and 1 child sharing), air-con very noisy if you’re a light sleeper
