The facilities were good in the room, beds comfy, staff helpful good location for walking to all local attractions and streets around the city I felt safe and comfy bless for a solo visit

The location
We paid the for three nights for a family/ room for four people (two adults, two kids) the second bed was too small for two children! They also only supplied the room with enough cups etc for two people when I asked the desk for extra - it seemed like too much effort! Food was not great.

The staff was rude. Even at reception it seemed like a undue effort to assist me. Although it is great to have dog friendly places around it is still gross that dogs urinate in the hallways.

Bathroom only has no tissue paper washing face. Informed customer service via QR code, still no one sends a package of tissues paper for 2 days of staying in the hotel

Lovely hotel, well situated. Very clean good sized room, with coffee and tea. Bar staff very friendly, prices reasonable for a hotel.
We had a problem on arrival. The twin was booked in my name and due to unforseen circumstances edinburgh airport was closed, so we were flown to prestwick, which meant I arrived 4 hours later than expected. My colleague arrived by train and the guy on reception wouldnt let her into the room because it was in my name....so she had to wait for 3 hours in reception, which to me is ludicrous, I sent her the details etc, but he just wasnt interested, she said he was very intimidating and not at all helpful. Very disappointing.
