Everything. Clean comfortable great staff nice swimming pool. I stayed because it was close to Edinburgh Royal Hospital and was booked in for an early operation. I relaxed with room service a nice swim and a very comfortable sleep. The staff couldn't do enough for me 100% recommend

gaining access to the car park wasn't great but that is out with the control of the hotel, but the signage could be better for the car park entrance

The location was very convenient, it is right in the middle of the old town. The bed was quite comfortable and when we asked for extra pillows we got them very quickly.
For a 4 star hotel the rooms were extremely dated. The tiles in the bathroom and the grout needed cleaning, the walls were dirty and the wood on the door was chipped off at the bottom. The pool was very small. There was very little storage for 2 guests. The toilet was in a separate room to the shower/sink/bath which was quite inconvenient. There was a charge of £5 for room service, so when I ordered one glass of diet coke I was charged nearly £9

Poor quality coffee
On 5th Feb we started breakfast at 9.15. But at 9.40 a member of staff went round tables saying to people they needed to watch their time as the staff needed to clear tables. Wow I thought breakfasts were served up till 10.00 am.
Cooked food was unimaginative. Dry . And just tired.
I stayed at the novotel in Hammersmith London.the best breakfast I've ever had.

Friendly staff, room very clean and comfortable. Pool is great the kids loved it, jacuzzi and sauna great too. Breakfast lovely plenty of options. Brilliant location close to everything
