very close to Grassmarket and thus the bustle of the Old Town. to access the city, i walked almost every day down the beautiful Vennel with its stunning views, and often selfie models and instagramers, all smiles. the breakfast was a great buffet and the pool/hot tub/sauna were a nice bonus.

The hotel was great - clean and quiet. The adjacent building was under construction so the view wasn’t great. But it was a good price/value and enjoyed the amenities.

There was a nice breakfast and the restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Reception staff were not very helpful. The hotel room was extremely small with clumpy furniture right by the door so we could not push our baby’s pram into the room without removing furniture. The room was also uncomfortably hot at all times and we could not cool it down.

Staff amazing and very friendly, pool very clean and hotel was clean and organized. The barn area is very cozy and well managed and the breakfast is 5 star. Very clean and tidy rooms and staff always on hand to help
The room we got was smaller than expected 2nd floor and no view. I had paid for city view and expected that to be included. The room was clean but not what I thought I had paid for. Was originally meant to be 4th floor but was put on the 2nd. I havebt marked my score down for this as the hotel staff were lovely but please know that if you get a 2nd floor room city view the cars will keep you awake at night.
