My twin room had 2 single beds that were subpar. Mattress was either too old Or just poor quality. Beddings were clean and comfortable though.

Location was excellent. Front desk Staff was very very polite and helpful. Bar staff … so so. Room was very clean. Front desk manned 24/7.

Nice clean and updated facility. A good size room. Theres a fridge but no microwave oven.
The setup is a bit awkward. Toilet and bathroom are in separate locations. The toilet fan is weak or non existent. Faucet location in the bathroom sink is in a bit unusual. One needs to go through the lobby and in view of dining area to go to the pool.

Breakfast was good but monotonous, every day same meals nothing changed except the tables where we sat & had our breakfast. As a vegetarian choices were very less. Would have loved few more things.

Wonderful
Hotel location is excellent easy to walk Grassmarket and castle area. Lots of restaurant and supermarkets nearby. Room is very big with double bed and sofa bed as well. Hotel has indoor swimming pool which is good attraction for families with kid.
Room services should be a bit better to clean the room when we are outside. Apart from that hotel is good for our expectations.

Wonderful
We were quite pleased with the Novotel. While not huge, the room was comfortable for our three-person group. It was clean and in good condition. The location was excellent -- very close to Old Town attractions while also being quiet.
