Wonderful
The rooms were very comfortable, the selection at breakfast was great especially as we were away with children. With the added bonus of the swimming pool for the kids. The birthday treat from the hotel for my granddaughter was a lovely touch
We travelled as a family and requested that our rooms be close together unfortunately that didn’t happen, we were on separate floors

The room was so quiet which was fab and breakfast amazing! The staff were friendly and the young man welcoming us at breakfast was great.
The lack of dressing gowns when there was no cubicle to change into in the swimming pool. The loo without a hand basin was odd. Especially with a family staying. Had to wait for the shower/sink to be free so that you could wash your hands.

Breakfast was good. Pub was ok with decent whiskey selection and reasonable prices
Check in was too slow, there was no slippers at the room (i expect that from a low quality stay but not from Novotel so i did not bring any. You can get them for 5 pounds)

The hotel’s biggest advantage is definitely its location — it is very close to almost every part of the city, which makes it extremely convenient.
The toilet is separated in its own small room, and surprisingly, there is no bin and no sink inside. It is hard to understand how people are expected to maintain hygiene in such a setup. • The carpets in the rooms are old, dusty, and outdated, and really need to be replaced. • The rooms are very cold at night, and the heating system is not sufficient. • Overall, it is adequate for accommodation, but do not expect too much compared to other options.

Great location for conference at the university, good sized room too
Quite hot in room, no air con and climate controls were okay but not enough. To be fair, it's probably rare to be this warm in November
