The staff were friendly and helpful the rooms were clean the the beds were comfortable. It was good to have a kettle tea and coffee in the bedroom.
We were able to leave breakfast things in the fridge and eat in the dining room. Also there were plenty of buses outside the hotel
It would have been nice to have a toaster and kettle in the dining room and crockery and cutlery

Booking.com were awful, they stated that the hotel was just over 1km from the Royal Highland showground when in fact it was 8 miles away the other side of the city and river and cost £40 in a taxi! I would never have booked it if I had known this. I am asking for my money back please as this is misrepresentation and needs addressing. £200 refund please. Julia Anne Fawcett, tel. 07881 721217

close to the bus station, easy to go railway station, and there's a shopping mall nearby.
not sure if it is common in Scotland, you need to pay if leave luggage in the hotel whether before check-in or after check-out.
We arrive one hour earlier, this reception guy is kind let us take a rest in the public area.
reception is closed from 10 pm to next day 10 am, if you need any help, unfortunately no one is there.
cold water shower every night, only hot water comes in the morning.

Bus stop directly outside the room, which was on one of the main 'arteries' into edinburgh. Very noisy. Had to walk through reception to get to shower/bathroom.

Location was fantastic. The bus to city center picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel. Great budget hotel. All the basics were covered. Clean.
The entrance is only open during very limited hours. If you arrive outside of those hours there is no entry, no reception and no reply. At check out, I dropped my key, exited the building realized I had left my jacket in the room and could not go back into the building. I had to wait for another guest to leave so I could go back in. This was during normal check out hours.
