Beautiful rooms with a great view of the city. Centrally located and close to lots of restaurants. The spiral staircase scared me at first (claustrophobia) but I quickly got used to it and it was worth it. But if you have mobility issues you might want to pick a room that is accessible via the elevator.

Very good location to explore the city from. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Appreciate the fan provided.
The lift was not working and we did not have any warning before arrival. Given that we had been away for a while we had two large heavy +50 pound suitcases that had to be taken up many many flights of stairs to the apartments near the top floor. Also was not entirely clear where the luggage storage was without knowing which floor we had reached so we ended up doing even more work bringing it up and down. Would have been nice to have some notice.

2) awful customer service: Judith failed to answer our questions before we arrived and despite we agreed for a prepared 3rd bedding, it was not ready
3) unclear instructions how to use microwave

Excellent location and very quiet. Immaculately clean.
Bed was hard and lumpy, microwave and hob very difficult to use, bathroom sink so tiny it did not function for designed use. What a mess every time we tried to wash our faces.

The best thing about the property was its location. By the Royal Mile, it’s in the middle of everything. It’s 5 min walk from the Waverly station for those taking the tram or Airlink to/from airport.
The apartment was comfortable for a couple, with well-equipped kitchen and functional bathroom.
There’s no staff on site - checkin is done via email and a code is provided to get into the building and the apartment. We didn’t encounter any issues but feels kind of creepy getting into a dark and empty 5-story building.
We had a studio apartment - no sofa, just a love seat for 2 and a tiny table.
There’s a lift to the 3rd floor, then a 2 floor walk. It was challenging getting our luggage up.

The place is just beautiful, it is a mix of old world charm with very modern finishes and fixtures. Very characterful. it was very clean. Staff was available to help with luggage. One person came in to have a look at flushing toilet issues. At the time she was able to get it to work. It is very close to the Royal mile(1/2 a block away) so quite a lovely location to access all things nearby.
The toilets were VERY difficult to flush. They did not always work. In spite of beautiful design, function was off. I feel as though men designed the place without any thought to a woman’s needs. Shower head was in the ceiling. Many feet above my head. If I was 6’9” I do not think it would have been a problem. I am 5’7” (not short) and by the time the water reached the top of my head the shower pressure was very ineffective. The top kitchen shelves are too high to reach things without having to get on a chair. As I said toilets do not flush consistently. The little glass shelf above the sink in one of the bathrooms prevents you from being able to put your face above the sink. The design of the apartment has beautiful form but function is way off. In the small bathroom the glass shower partition could be bigger.(or a folding door might be best) Water gets all over everything in there because the glass is too narrow.

Reasonable price and strategic place near the Royal Mile.
They put us in the 5th floor and elevator on reached 3rd floor. We didn’t know that we will be in the 5th floor until the check in day. If I know that we will be in the 5th floor beforehand we definitely cancel the booking.

Configuration of apt and bedrooms. Nice space. Nice layout for a family. Use of passcode instead of keys thru out property.
Stairs were tiresome at the end of the day.
Shower never got really hot. A big downer when it was a long day of cold weather.
Bedrooms needed a fan.

There were numerous advantages for this property that we really really liked. There were we were very close to Waverley within steps plus an easy access for roller bags via the next-door arcade and going down Cockburn Street. There were numerous restaurants, pubs shops in old town that were right by the accommodation. There were two exceptional mentions the coffee shop across the street next to the Hilton and Howie‘s on Victoria Street one exception do not eat at the fish and chip shop at the top of Northbridge. It’s not an authentic fish and chip shop. I believe it’s Landry’s access to the Royal mile access to the tattoo access to the fringe. All were exceptional advantages of staying at this Location and will stay there again.
There was nothing to dislike absolutely nothing beautiful facilities. We had three rooms they were. I should say apartments they were fully functional could easily stay in these apartments with complete services. Staff was very helpful and just nothing but good things to say about this property.
