Proximity to the venue we attended
Broken mirror and toilet seat and the cost was expensive but possibly due to the fact a concert was taking place at Murrayfield stadium

It had a new looking bathroom but that was it.
Smelt a bit musty coming in the door. Radiator was leaking on the carpet. My hairdryer was cutting in and out - works fine at home. No wi-fi or signal down in my basement room so couldn’t even make calls or plans for the following day. Mouldy patch on the wall. Big hole in the wall… If it was priced accordingly I wouldn’t bother writing a review to complain but expect more for 15O pounds than an unstaffed room scruffy musty room. You have to wash tea cups anyway so for that money you could throw in a tea spoon so I could have eaten my porridge pot in the morning!

Disappointing
I was surprised to find out that the bathroom is shared, and I even have to go outside to take a shower. Their bathroom didn’t provide toilet paper, luckily, I brought my own

Location was good for where we were going. Room was nice and clean with plenty of room.
We found the guest house hard to find. We arrived within the check in times and the door was locked and no one was there. We phoned the number on the online booking to be given a code to get in the front door where there was a dish of keys and we were told which ones were ours. The room was in the basement and suitably kitted out with all mod cons. However the shower didn't work very well and the room was very noisy the whole night, so we didn't get much sleep.

There was an electric floor light in the bathroom, I didnt think this was v safe. The bedside lights werent working. There was quite a draft from the window. I had no answers to emails

Easy to find and access. Comfortable room with an excellent bathroom. The shower was really good. Everything was well-prepared and tidy.
Maybe a few more coffee, milk and sugar packets.
