Nothing. I left after an hour. Avoid.
Mobile phone call as you walk in, fish keys out of a bowel. Room stated it included bathroom, this was situated outside the room with a sign saying "do not use if not in room 1". I tried to sleep and the bed smelt absolutely rank, like stale sweat. Tried to persist as I was dead tired by putting over a towel, it was that bad

Ok for the money. Easy to get to and close to the airport and the city. OK to stay overnight.

I was upgraded to an en-suite. Quiet, well furnished, comfortable room at the back, great shower, extra electric heater if needed., Received door code and room number in advance so no problem getting in. Location very convenient for me.
I saw no staff at all on site for the 4 nights I stayed. The kettle in my room didn’t t work, I texted, left a voicemail and a written note but I got no reply and no replacement kettle. ( I borrowed a kettle from relatives locally so I could make a hot drink with the tea and coffee provided in the room).

Location was great right next to murrayfield stadium staff were very friendly and helpful
The place was budget wallpaper coming off the walls and so forth but it was a last minute booking and was cheap enough for one night

The guest house is well located however that is all that it has going for it.
Very unwelcoming, shared bathroom with a number of other rooms, far too hot, noisy with no insulation, asked for ironing board for a shirt and was told there were none - very dated and poorly maintained. No breakfast and vastly overpriced.

I didn't end up staying at the hotel, as I read the reviews online and was put off by the number of reviews commenting on the lack of safety, the fact no staff are on site to greet you, the uncleanliness. What tipped me over the edge and made me book alternative accommodation was the photo of the mouse poo and stains on the sheets. Unfortunately there's no cancellation policy, so I wasn't able to get my £45 back. But I'm happier to lose £45 and be healthy, than sleep in bed with mouse poo.
