Very Good
We stayed in the house a few doors down, it was a beautiful building with a large room for us.
Breakfast was good but a little expensive for what we got.

It was the second time with my niece we stayed at that hotel. We had liked the place during our first stay and decided to stay there again. We were upgraded to a bigger twin room with high ceiling on the first floor with the view on the garden in the back. Very nice bathroom too. The hotel has a nice breakfast formula, it is a mix of buffet with a dish you can choose from.
Noisy downstairs neighbors, got woken up in the middle of the night and slamming of doors. Outside of the control of the hotel management who apologized for the inconvenience.

It was in a excellent location for what we were travelled for, the day of the concert the atmosphere was brilliant. Rooms were lovely and the food was lovely. The staff were all very helpful.

Lovely hotel with excellent concert access and bar facilities - big events at murrayfield stadium are extremely well catered for, and this hotel has nailed it, perfect place to stay if going to a murrayfield event. Food was very good, and as a gluten-free person, I was well provided for. At dinner there was a separate gf menu, not the dreaded allergen list folder, staff were very aware and I felt safe.
Everything was great. Only ask would be to have a separate gluten-free breakfast menu printed, and have some gf sausages on it

Location, Easy to get bus into town. Very helpful staff, particularly lady on reception
parking! Had to park on road behind hotel because hotels parking was blocked with some function to be held there.
Breakfast service, slow and had to ask first day for them to take dirty dishes away to make room on very small table.

Wonderful
Location was great especially close to bus stop towards Princes Street.
Very pleasant staff and very attentive.
Breakfast was overpriced @ £16.50 pp
Bedside table was too small as was taken up by lamp.
Unacceptable being charged 10% service for taking my own drinks to room! Did remove this from bill when questioned but got impression night porter didn’t like it?

Bus stop outside
..........Very few staff...and the staff they had failed to turn up for work...only 2 on Sunday morning...no clean tables, waiting ages for food, lack of food....Monday no breakfast staff, no food, tea or coffee 3 Americans left, no one on reception....we would like money back as we had no breakfast...a member of staff told us it was bloody chaos. ....we were put into a disabled room that did not look anything like the pictures
I am very dissatisfied with Booking.com that i have used on regular trips...especially what they were charging ...can you please get back to me regarding some sort of recompense....very unhappy customer of yours

I could walk to and from the Oasis concert at Murrayfield but also the trams etc. made this a lovely place for my first proper stay in Edinburgh. The staff were exceptional as well and my room was super comfortable, quiet and kept so clean for my 4 day visit.
Nothing!

Location
Most of the things. They gave room for family in two seperate buildings. Breakfast was pathetic. Room was shaking when heavy vehicles past ot through the friont door. No room service. They kept a dead phone in their premium room. Breakfast was patheric. Overall a terrific experience

Wonderful
Very beautiful hotel, classic decoration in a traditional location. We stayed in a gorgeous room, high ceiling and very comfortable bed, also had a great bathtub. Breakfast was good, we got to choose a plate from the menu and could also pick some things from the buffet. Location is not in the city, but there are enough buses, easy to reach.
We stayed there in June and it was hot in Edinburgh (25-28C) and the hotel is not prepared for it as there’s no air conditioning. On the other hand, nowhere in Edinburgh seems to be prepared for the heat.
