Location was good
There were many stairs and we had to carry our own suitcases up to the top floor. There was no staff to help with it.
One of our rooms only had cold water, so they had cold showers!
The other room, the water ran super hot and you couldn’t adjust the temperature down! When I told the staff they just said you have to try and run the water in the tap for a while first and then turn on the shower….well how on earth would anyone know about that?
Staff were also hard to find around the hotel and mostly unhappy in their demeanour….it was a very sad experience because the hotel itself had a lovely charm to it….

Our first room was very very dusty, and there were still hairs in the shower. The water was also lukewarm. After complaining, we got another room (with no excuses) which was slightly cleaner and had hot water, but still very very dusty, with unclean carpet and stained furnitures… correct but not worth the 300€/night !

The location was great close to the bus station for easy trips into the city center also a quiet neighborhood. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was really nice and the food was delicious.
Unfortunately I feel like the pictures of the rooms online were a bit misleading. It may have been the fact that we were staying in a handicap accessible room but our room seemed very dated and verified significantly for the posted images. The walls were incredibly thin which meant we could hear everything in the Hallway. We are used to staying in hotels without AC in Europe but usually there are good options for opening a window at night. Unfortunately our window opened into a courtyard which made privacy a bit more difficult and air flow was not the best. Finally I do think it would be smart to have a coat hook or something added to the room to hand wet coats to dry since it was very rainy during our stay.
