The room was clean
Staff were very rude and very unwelcoming. The person on the door requires customer service training. The person behind the bar, was the most unfriendly and un welcoming ever. She even closed the bar early when there were still customers in there.
There room was only half decorated.

The hotel was beautiful & all the staff were so helpful & friendly. Perfect location.
The only negative was the price. It was expensive as we were attending a concert.

The room was large and the bed was great. The food at the Bothy was really good, including the breakfasts. The staff were always kind and helpful.
A bathrobe would have been nice and a bit more lighting in the bathroom. Otherwise - it was very good.

Location and staff were good. The soap also smelled good.
The heating unit in the bathroom is way too hot. Its hot to the touch and hazardous. The towel also had a brown stain on it. The room is also quite small and not much moving space. Also the bathroom door is always a crack open because its a swinging door so the person in the room can see you sitting on the toilet.

Fantastic staff throughout.
Great breakfast.
No lift and no offer of assistance with luggage to 2nd floor room.
The "cosy double" we booked was really too small to be a double room although it was well appointed with a newly refurbished en-suite. Price seemed excessive but proved similar to other Edinburgh hotels.

Just amazing!!! The staff are lovely,Food was great, room was so so nice. We got an upgrade as it was our honeymoon they done a lovely welcome in our room and some free fizz at dinner aswell.

Location great and meal was delicious!
The young blonde girl in the bar was quite rude when asking us to leave! I understood she wanted to go to bed at 12 but there is a way of asking guests to leave courteously.
