The staff was very friendly, busstop in front of the house and day tickets with the bus were 5 pounds.
It was quite small in comparison to the pictures , the topper on the bed was very hard which made it less comfortable. The room was next to the parking lot which woke us up quite a bit.

Great location, comfortable hotel. Food and drink options were very good. An excellent full Scottish breakfast. Very nice room and bathroom. I had a one night stay passing through and this worked really well. Very friendly staff and nice hotel decor.
There was initially music piping out to the car park at night , right outside my room which they turned off on my request.

No nonsense check in even though I arrived too early and then came back very late. Manager arranged a quiet table for me so that I could work in the morning.

The property was nice inside and staff were friendly
I stayed for 2 nights the towels was not changed nor was the room cleaned also the food was expensive so didn’t eat in the restaurant.

Location was good and receptionist was nice
My room wasn’t the cleanest ( makeup stains on bed and someone else’s hair ) was also quite loud and went to use the shower and must’ve been trying for 10 mins to get it to warm up and it wouldn’t so when I phoned down to reception on hold for 20 mins I got told the room I was in would be the last one to warm up which I would like to think I could’ve been told that when I checked in. Overall not a great experience maybe the other rooms would’ve been nicer but I just didn’t exactly enjoy my break away.

Big bed, comfortable mattress, not far from city centre, nice shower, good towels, coffee machine / kettle, iron.
Noisy road, noisy indoors (you can hear everything), uncomfortable pillows, dust on the huge lustre, smell in the room, mould in the bathroom.

The location is fab…10 mins from the zoo and 10 mins to Edinburgh city centre bus stops right outside hotel….bed where comfy …lady on reception was really lovely and friendly
The room we were in when u walked in there was a weird smell that wouldn’t go away ….like a sewage type of smell….the shower only ran cold and the bath tap didn’t work so had to fill bath with shower head . Then the bath water would not drain did report to hotel

Rooms were exceptionally nice. The staff were very polite and helpful. The adjoining restaurant was also great. Just far enough out of the city to be quiet but close to all forms of public transport.
