We loved the atmosphere the decor and the casual homely feeling.
We booked a luxury room and a standard room. Only the luxury is worth it! the standard is so small u can hardly stand in it! The luxury is huge!!!

The location was very convenient to Edinburgh. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the attached restaurant was very convenient.
It was a warm summer in Scotland during our stay, and although it’s not very common in these older buildings, some air-conditioning or a fan would have been helpful to keep the air moving. It was a little pricey, considering the size of the rooms. We also found the food at the restaurant to be very tasty, but also a little pricey.

Tidy and convenient! We had a wonderful time here and the service was exceptional. It’s close to the city centre and also very well maintained. We had no issues at all. Lovely food.

Room was very nice and clean
Room was on the third floor and really hot. This could be dealt with by placing a fan in front of the window but the fan cord wasnt long enough to reach the outlet. I asked fot an extension cord but staff couldnt find one. I was told when we checked in thst breakfast was not included. So i did not eat breakfast because i would only est domething light. When we checked out they said breakfast was included. This hotel could do better

Great, awesome location, easy bus riding to the main part of the city, and perhaps the greatest thing was being across from Murrayfield itself! (Rugby fan!)
We were not that impressed with the overall menu. The French onion soup was superb. What non-breakfast meals that we have there were so so…. We really liked Murrayfield, great place, dedicated parking

Room far too warm and no air con Fan didn’t work, staff however did replace quickly. No blinds on windows, not very private. Overpriced for what it was. Food ok, nothing amazing.

Lovely hotel nice and clean staff were lovely great location for Murrayfield but very busy obviously had great little event on for the concert we were going to and was well ran not letting people who were not staying at the hotel into use the toilets etc Would stay here again for sure staff were very hardworking it was busy they were great
The fridge didnt work and room was very small although i did expect this as i booked a cosy was expensiive though as there was the event at Murrayfield
