Great location, clean room with comfortable bed.
The majority of staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, on the day I checked out one of the cleaning staff was very rude to me in my room. I reported this at check out to 2 staff members there who apologised. However, I was still irritated by the experience.

The location was excellent: Across the street from bus and train station but without the usual inconvenience of noise. Located right between new town and old town so it was perfect to go either way easily. Great lobby with copious breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff. Very comfortable room. All in all we are coming back to the hotel on our return to Edinburgh.

The lobby area is very stylish and modern, the staff was friendly, and the location is amazing, completely in the center of Edinburgh right between the old town and the new town.
The rooms feel very "motel" with a completely bare bones experience. There are weird plastic sippy cups and no glasses. One trash can in the bathroom. The windows open a crack and only at the top, and the HVAC didn't otherwise function, meaning our room was horribly hot and moist our entire stay.
