The room was very clean, there were sufficient hooks for hanging clothes, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I wish the room was temperature control (as it was too warm for me). The bathroom was modern and clean, enough for a business trip. The hotel, inside, was usually quiet and I really like that the hotel is wheelchair accessible.
The rooms need some noise-proofing. The windows (I was in the Cockburn rooms, up on the 6th floor) need modernising. Maybe triple-paned windows for rooms facing the street? Because the hotel is in the heart of the Oldtown, any street noise came right in. For the price of stay, I expected quieter rooms and stronger WIFI. Luckily I had my loop plugs to help me get to sleep, but otherwise I would have struggled to get to sleep. The WIFI could do with some strengthening, as it was pretty spotty in my room. The breakfast is OK, but could do with more vegetarian options (apart from pastries and yoghurt, not much else). I also wish that breakfast went until 11am every weekday, to give folks time to adjust and sleep in.
