Very convenient location especially when traveling via train since it is just on the corner of the street. Lots of food options around and nice street away from Royal Mile. It has all the basic amenities a traveler would need. Clean, modern rooms and comfortable bed.
Since it is an old building, there are more stairs and hallways than one would care for especially moving luggages around. Also, no safe in room.

Location and staff excellent. Breakfast had great variety of choices
When I first got there, wasn't sure which for to enter with luggage. It's easier to do the far door but I didn't realize that was there so used the main door and just had to lift luggage to stairs. But some directional signs could help so less confusing

Great location, just beside the train station, friendly staff and clean room. Even though the location is close to the train station, I didn't hear much noise from the train. Breakfast was also pretty good.
