City centre. Close to attractions
The hotel is badly arranged and a real confusing labyrinth. Our room was very expensive for what we got.

The location was excellent, exiting onto Cockburn Street, Princes Street Gardens and very close to Waverley Station. There was an entry door without steps, that made it easier with luggage.

Grear location. Very short distance from Waverley Station and Saint Andrew Square. Near places of interest with lots of restaurants nearby.
Basic facilities. No shampoo and bath caps. Only one waste bin in the toilet. Creaking floor boards.

Wonderful
The location is exceptional, halfway between the main train station and the Royal Mile. The room was comfortable and the continental breakfast was very good.
I would have liked a slightly higher water pressure in the shower, but I'm picky :-) It was absolutely sufficient.

No phone in the room, no bar fridge, no kitchen in hotel for food only bar, no block out curtains. Staff had no idea about tourist information they werent helpful strangers on the street were more helpful. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent location. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Comfortable room. Fairly quiet room.
No heated towel rack, no wardrobe/place to put out clothes.

Great location. Nicely decorated place. Rooms are a bit tight, but that was expected in the city. Comfy bed.
Staff didn't particularly know to much about the area - i.e. where nearby restaurants/pubs are & how late they were open. Edinburgh as a whole was a bit more pricey than I was expecting, but I would stay here again for the location and clean, nice room.

Location was in the centre of Edinburgh, so convenient. Also the room was very clean.
The toilet flush button stuck regularly, meaning the cistern didn't refill until jiggling the button to free it. It was an expensive hotel the majority of which was for location. The breakfast looked poor value so we ate elsewhere for less than they wanted to charge for one person.
