Cooked breakfast would have been good. Expensive £232 for a one night stay, but recognise that Edinburgh is an expensive location.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city, walking distance to most main attractions, 1' to buses, trams, train etc. The hotel was very nice, smallish room but very well designed. Loved the lounge/common room/breakfast room!

Not good value, room small and basic with very small window. Toiletries were limited (no shampoo conditioner or body lotion). No drinking water provided.

Hot! No aircon so our sleep was a bit uncomfortably warm. Not the fault of staff. They were great!

The position was good but the hotel entrance hard to find. The staff were very good. Despite some renovations occurring in the dining area the breakfast was very satisfactory.
The bed was very firm. The entrance is up a side street and poorly marked from the main road.

The location
The room was absolutely not worth £265 very very disappointed.. breakfast which was extra i would expect a menu sitting down to my breakfast but not here had to make my own..room was very basic.was given a toilet and shower room which was a wet room absolutely not what was expected and treated my niece for her 18th birthday
