The location and staff are great.
The hotel is not well maintained. The carpet looks dirty. The shower was not working fine.

The location was situated close to the areas of Edinburgh that we were interested in.
Rooms were not worth the money and were small and simple but fortunately we didn't spent much time in the room,

The location was great! Within walking distance to everything and was so easy to get to the train, tram and hop on hop off bus.
We were aware they were doing some upgrades and were notified of the noise. The passages and breakfast area were looking a bit tired.

Wonderful
The location on Princes Street was perfect. Just behind Waverley Station. A very short walk from hop on, hop off bus. Very nice breakfast with a view up to Edinburgh Castle. Good evening meal at pub a few steps away.
Hotel currently undergoing renovation. Our room was along corridor from worksite office but hotel staff were extremely understanding and this didn't pose a problem.

Loved the location - perfect for a stopover stay or arriving late or departing early as it is just across the street from Waverly station. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great! The shower head was nice and the bathroom was super clean.
The bathroom was a bit small but had wonderful amenities.

The location is absolutely ideal.
Seriously overpriced (as are most hotels in Edinburgh). The room was so hot it was nearly impossible to sleep.
