The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The location was close to everything and it made our stay in Edinburgh that much better! The staff was also super friendly

Address is on Princes street but actual entrance is on a side street and is somewhat inconspicuous. Nothing in the literature or booking information advised this abnormality.

Great location, very handy to the Waverley train station. Entrance a little tricky to find around the corner of building. Room was very clean and comfortable. Check in staff friendly and helpful.

The location was good right across from the train station if someone was travelling by train, close to some nice restaurants and shops. Room was clean.
We were upgraded to a front room which was very noisy as it was accross from the station so noisy all night long. Room was ok but don’t think it was an upgrade, if it was I don’t think we would have been happy with anything less.
We didn’t like that there was no parking with the hotel but a get it being in the centre of a city not many do.
I messaged reception before arrival and she gave me two car park details, I asked if there was any hight barriers as I had a camper van and she said no hight barriers on any.
When I turned up it was quite busy and there was a low barrier on the entry, so caused a bit of stress getting out of there in the traffic, found the second car park which also had a hight barrier. So I went to one which I knew I could get in but the cost was £38 a night so instead of stopping for two nights we moved out of the city to a quieter place, I didn’t fancy paying nearly £80 for parking for two nights.

The shower was very powerful
Had to get electric heater from reception. Paper cups in bathroom weren’t appealing nor were the plastic cups for tea/coffee facilities.
