Smell from shower drain, low hum noise at night from roof that resulted in distrubed nights sleep. Management at hotel informed. Nothing done.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is a very short walk (10 minutes approximately) from Haymarket train station. Atmosphere was very good and the staff were fantastic and keen to help. The rooms were lovely and enjoyed the welcome chocolates and biscuits when I arrived. The pillows were hard though and that needs changing and amenities in the fridge (mini bar) were quite cheap in terms of cheap soda and would have been better if there was a can of coca cola in there instead. The TV had issues too with the remote control having a foreign language and not calibrating with the TV. The value of the hotel was good and I am pleased with the price paid. The hotel room was very clean and spotless. The noise level was absolutely fine with no concerns. I would give 5/5 stars nevertheless and the food was amazing and enjoyed my dinner (Chicken burger/tiramisu for dessert). I would be happy to stay here ago and would love to do so. I hope the hotel will make the changes above to improve the stay in future.

The room was very well equipped and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, with varied food choices and nice tea. The room was in a quiet location which we appreciated.

The hotel and the room were clean and fresh.
We arrived around 8:30 AM after an overnight flight, hoping to get into our room early. They did not have a room available, which I totally understand. But I found it odd that the person who was on the desk had a very casual golf shirt on that was dirty! It’s a small point, but it’s the first impression when we arrived at the hotel and this employee was simply not dressed very professionally.

I arrived at the merure haymarket everything was good at reception but when we got to our room there were no T-bags or sugar and no remote control for the TV , we couldn't find the hairdryer we were told it's on the shelf but we had opened the door to the toilet upon entering, it's a sliding door and when opened hides the storage are where the hairdryer was.and the light on the left side of the bed refused to go out tried all light switches in the room only to be told on departure there was a BUTTON somewhere, I unscrewed the bulb to switch it off.
Breakfast was cold even though they advertise hot cooked breakfast, there was no fresh orange juice it was diluted through a cooler and had to wait 10 minutes as no one had noticed that the bag of concentrate was finnished.not happy , I would like a refund for the breakfast

Location and size of room was great
WiFi was not good kept falling off and was so slow almost unusable. I did let them know but it didn’t seem to improve
