Superb location. Within walking distance of the heart of Edinburgh. Public transit from and to the airport is very accessible. Small but well furnished and clean rooms. The staff is well trained, efficient and courteous.
I left my iPad behind. It was retrieved from my room and mailed to me. The communication between me and the hotel staff and management was clear, courteous and efficient. The staff and management went above and beyond to help me re-possess my iPad.
Princes St. doesn't allow car traffic. We had to park our rental car around the corner to unload and check in.

Room was perfectly comfortable and more than adequate for a single traveller. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The hotel itself was in a very convenient location, an easy walk to the main tourist sights of Edinburgh

Nice view after having to upgrade
Really bad view of generators , loud smelled moldy. Prices to book directly are half of the bookings price and the hotel will not price match even though the website for hotel says this! Stay elsewhere . There are many great places to stay with views .
