History of the property was amazing! Conveniently located to Edinburgh and nearby golf. Beautiful setting.
While the weather was exceedingly warm, our first floor room was hot as well and a little uncomfortable for sleeping.

Location was lovely
Service was awful. One hour for dinner to be served and we had to chase them to take our food order and it wasn’t busy. Service for breakfast was very very slow also.
Beds could do with being changed. Very lumpy.
Dinner when we got was really good though.

Beautiful historic property. Absolutely loved the hotel and surrounding serene land. Rooms, furniture and grounds were lovely. Restaurant and service were great.
Two of our rooms did not have hot water either in the evening or in the morning.

Beautiful location, big spacious rooms, powerful shower & good quality toiletries. Relaxing bar area. Fabulous breakfast, good choice for dinner menu & quality food. Friendly staff
Only thing we didn’t like was that the bed was two beds put together to make a large double.

Beautiful stay, the castle accommodated an extra bed in our room which was very nice. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant. Also, we found the drink prices very reasonable.
