Loved the grounds and outside seating, bedroom was lovely and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Only bar and one other room for guests to use, don’t know if this was because of wedding on but would expected more common rooms.

Dinner in the Dungeon was atmospheric and the room we had was fantastic
The grounds of the castle are majestic and the long and I mean long driveway sets you up for something special

Friendly helpful staff, great location with free parking, good breakfasts and dinners, great atmosphere. Really spacious rooms, lovely country view from window with draught horse in paddock.
Little bit of a maze getting to rooms as elevators don’t get to all rooms but was okay.

Cannot comment about the other rooms but mine was probably one of the servants room or a late loft conversion.
Interesting overall but looked a bit ...unfinished, especially the bathroom. The windows in the ceiling were rather impractical and the one above the bed gave a feeling of a light switched on. There was a blind for that but I have not used it.
Decent restaurant, decent food.
