4 poster bed was lovely. Seats fit for a king and queen, the room was of a very good size. Wardrobes were a decent size, enough for 2 people and an ironing board, iron and hairdryer in room. We were in the Superior King room and the decor was beautiful.
Bathroom needs attention. For almost £500.00 per night, the wood panels and mastic were a little weathered. Broken parts were simply painted over.
Bar area was cold. It was snowing yet no fire was lit and staff refused saying it was warm enough in their opinion.

Location was very good and quiet, an impressive building full of character, room was clean and well serviced
Room was very claustrophobic without a lot of daylight and lacked any comfortable chairs, facilities for making drinks was inadequate and the wardrobe was too small if staying for longer than 3 nights

Outstanding I very much loved the decor opulence as you would expect for this kind of hotel .
The bed was beautiful a bit blingy for me however that’s not my business I still had a wonderful night sleep and super grateful the room was warm .
